Great pub, good service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Generally a nice pub, with a good selection of food and drink, and friendly staff. However was very disappointed with the food quality last time we visited, and we were among many to complain that day.A fish finger sandwich in a large roll with only one fish goujon is not good enough!

Excellent food, staff helpful and friendly despite it being a very busy Saturday evening. Only thing missing for 5* was the welcome on arrival, we weren't quite sure what the procedure was and it took a little time for a staff member to approach us. Wouldn't stop us visiting again. Thanks to all for a nice meal and experience.

Really nice place, been a couple of times, would recommend booking as they are often quite busy but they've been great and fitted us in even though we hadn't booked.Staff are very friendly and helpful and although not marked on the menu, they are knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to my dietary requirements, no problem getting a dairy and gluten free meal for myself (who is intolerant). Also worth saying we originally found this place as they have a fast electric car charger which is super useful and has always been working when we've visited.

Very quick and attentive service. The food was incredible - the bourgignon delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was gone in less than 30 seconds as I couldn't stop wolfing it down! Looking forward to the new menu!

9 of us (and one canine) were here last Sunday. Our waitress Eugenie was brilliant. Food was delicious and service was great. Everyone in our party as happy 😀

Really nice Sunday dinner. Could have been warmer but very tasty. Shout out to Olivia who was front of house. She was on her own, so run off her feet but was so professional, welcoming, smiling and polite. She is a credit to the company and I hope they realise this!!

It is a very good place with a very good location. And always convenient for my solar plus electric pulse charge machine. It is a great pub and a great Idea to rest and chill. It is nice to relax and have a break from London and M25. Therefore it is 5 stars

Went for Sunday lunch. Food itself was of a decent standard but do not order the trio of roasts. We were given a duo of one tiny sliver of beef and pork each. Service was slow and extra sides didn't turn up until we had finished eating. It was busy... perhaps too busy, remove some tables and the staff may cope better?

TLDR: nice Sunday roast, warm decor, good service, and banoffee pie recommended!I rocked up to the place on a Sunday for a Sunday roast and managed to get a table for 2 without any issues. Though I imagine if it was earlier in the afternoon, it may have been busier. The general decor of the place is warm and inviting, with a touch of gastro-pub about it. There is plenty for space for dining/seating inside. In terms of the food, a nice option is the trio roast (which had turkey, pork and beef) for Sunday lunch. They also offer the more traditional beef, pork etc. The portions were decent sized. The food was well presented and priced similar to other pubs in the area.Absolutely loved the banoffee pie. Simply delicious! The service was really nice and we managed to get our food relatively quickly despite being a Sunday and busy-ish period.Overall, well worth going, especially after walk in the nearby Commons.
