Having worked next door to Silver River for the past 8 years I may be just a bit biased with my views but.... as a family we all really love the food at Silver River and the wonderful warm welcome we always get by Sue at the counter or by Eddy the chef. Our favourites are Half of Crispy Fried Duck to start with, or salt and pepper ribs, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, or Sweet and sour balls, Singapore Noodles, and Beef with ginger. It is always cooked to order so fresh and piping hot when you walk out of the shop. Keep up the good work, best wishes Peter and Emma Greenwood

Great food, better than all Chinese takeaways I've ever had! The lady at the counter was extremely friendly, even offered us an antibacterial wipe to clean our hands. Will definitely come back!

Absolutely is my all time favourite Chinese take out. Pleasant and friendly vibe as soon as you walk in. Been using this Chinese takeout for years! Never had any problems with the food , reasonable prices and great customer service. I highly recommend you try this Chinese take out if you haven't already !

Food is delicious and the lady who runs Silver River is very friendly. My favourite Chinese food in the area. Everything is tasty but the chicken curry and chips are my personal choice, a guilty pleasure. A lot of the dishes are more healthy than normal Chinese. Can't recommend enough.

We have been using this Chinese take out for years since living in the area. The food is scrumptious and always lives up too expectations everytime in the whole time we have been using it in the 12 years. Sue is incredibly proffessional and friendly and has great people skills on front desk. I would highly recommend this take out too friends and have previously recommended to family and they loved it!
