Very nice, roast dinner could be a little bit bigger, staff was friendly,loads off beer to choose from

Nice surroundings, good atmosphere and very pleasant and attentive staff. My only slight negative would be the quality and presentation of the food. Over fried seafood platter which was hard to differentiate between the various seafoods and sausage and mash which was not great. I personally would go back as all other factors overruled the poor food and I am hoping it was a one off?

Goods draught beers whether you want cider lager real ale or Guinness. The bar staff are friendly & extremely witty,and the food,whether that's the Sunday Roast or Mon - Sat pub food is excellent VFM. Just a boozer as a boozer should be.

Amazing food . We had the roast with all the trimmings and pudding as you can see . Great prices for food and drink x lovely family atmosphere. Will definitely be going back 😋

This is our local pub, unfortunately both myself and my son got food poisoning from the chicken. I politely let the manager know the next day, that we had been up all night in pain and feeling poorly. I was advised to make the manager aware of our returned visit (which we opted for a non meat option) On our return we were offer a sorry in person and not even a complimentary drink for our awful experience. Not sure I will bother returning again after the food poisoning experience and poor customer service. The Hills family.

Lovely lively local pub, right next to the playing field so very green and peaceful. It has a nice selection of beers and ales with a typical pub food menu which is very reasonably priced. Indoors they have TV screens for sport and there is a car park as well if you need it. Its a place with a lot of character and the atmosphere is very friendly. Great pub.
