Lovely food, attentive staff, great lunch, cute courtyard outside. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a great time at Amici!! Beautiful outdoor area with amazing food and drink! We also tried the ice cream with balsamic vinegar for dessert! It doesn’t make sense but it totally works and tastes delicious!! Great hidden spot in Kennington, would highly recommend. We’ll be going back soon for sure!

This place is extremely good! The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The garden is perfect for summer evening. I found it randomly on Open Table and very happy that I did, I didn't think Kennington and Oval had any decent restaurants at all! Will definitely be coming back.

We went to this restaurant for my husband’s special birthday. I did make an error and thought I had booked a restaurant in Kensington rather than Kennington! However, it was well worth the costly taxi as the food was all freshly cooked and tasted amazing. The service was really personal and we were made to feel like special customers. Jim was a lovely host as well as the other serving staff. The seating was a little bit cafe style outside. We were offered blankets & hot water bottles when it went a bit cooler and they did have patio heaters so we couldn’t complain and had a wonderful evening. Thank you.

Came here to celebrate my birthday with some friends and so glad I did!The staff were so friendly and accommodating every step of the way. Their outdoor heating was unfortunately not working the day of our but supplied us with blankets and hot water bottles. All my friends loved their food as well. Honestly can't rave about their customer service enough!Their courtyard for outdoor seating is in the most perfectly quiet little place, gave me Italy vibes, so much character, loved it -my photos did no justice! I can imagine its even more beautiful on a sunny day. I live locally and the experience was good enough for me to say I will definitely be coming back again.

I'd heard good things about Amici but wow it was brilliant! Beyond (already high) expectations - excellent and friendly service from all of the staff, who really went out of their way to welcome us. Wonderful atmosphere. My boyfriend booked for us to come as a surprise for my birthday, and I look forward to making coming a regular habit - easily the best place in Kennington. We had a fantastic experience eating at Amici - making the first time eating out in months very special! All the staff were so friendly and helpful for our order, really checking in that we had the best experience possible, and the food was delicious, catering for both meat eaters and vegans.There was a miscommunication with one of the orders and they were very apologetic and accomodating to quickly fix this - even giving complementary food whilst waiting. It was great vibes and an amazing garden with heaters so we didn't get too chilly. I'll definitely be visiting again!

All perfect folks! Highly recommended! The staff is amazingly friendly and professional, the restaurant itself is very cozy and comfy. Food?? Oh yeah... it's heaven! We're are an Italian couple, so trust us, that a great Italian food. Gennaro, the Chef, is marvellous, his recipes and the quality of ingredients are the very top! Taste the "friarielli", a unique Italian vegetable, Gennaro knows very well how to cook those. Pizza, pasta, any course you order will delight you! Give it a try and you won't regret it ;)

Amici has been a family favourite for many years. We recently had our wedding reception there and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Houman and his team made sure everything went so smoothly. In the run up to the day, Houman was always available for questions and to ensure that every detail was thought of. As always, the food and service were exceptional. The setting of Amici's courtyard was the perfect spot for our small intimate event and so many of our guests commented on both the setting and the quality of the food. We can't thank Houman and the Amici team enough for making our day so special and memorable! We can't wait to visit again and relive the magic of the day!

My husband and I had a great Valentine's lunch earlier today. Fantastic food, especially the deserts! We have been coming here for a few years now, and it just gets better and better. We will be coming back again
