Argan Moroccan-Lebanese Cuisine in Lambeth

Friendly server, delicious array of well cooked dishes. Can recommend the lamb kibbeh and cheese sambousek. Surprised how tasty the Moroccon salad was too. It also seemed less busy perhaps because its tucked down a very pretty side street off the high street.

We went as a family. Location just opposite the cinema very well located. We went early evening so not as busy as a family of 4. We ordered a few different dishes and each one was quality and the price was slightly above average but felt it was worth the food. Will come back here again! Delightful place in both ambience and staff, one of the few places on the high street that serves food a bit later; And the food! I must say this is some of the most delicious food coupled with gorgeous plating I’ve had in this city. Altogether a wonderful experience: service, food, ambiance; it has it all

Poor service 😢. Our meals and drinks took so long to come. 3 out of 7 were of poor quality. Over two hours for our main to come. One of the staff tried their best and apologised for the service and gave us a free drink at the end. My daughter ate none of her meal so this was taken off the bill as well as the service charge.

Delicious sharing food. The set menu comes in multiples of 2 people, but with an odd numbered party, get the -1 options, as it will be more than enough to feed everyone and then some! The non-alcoholic cocktails are beautifully presented and very tasty also!

Excellent authentic food with great, friendly customer service. Definitely the best local spot for Middle Eastern (but it’s also Moroccan) food. We ordered the meshwe shared platter for two - and it’s the perfect amount of food for two.

We visited Argan and had an average experience. The service was good, food was average but overpriced. We ordered chicken pastilla, soup, chicken shawarma and lamb shank.All the food was presented nicely on the plates. The chicken pastilla was nicely flavoured but we found the rest of our food to be quite bland. Chicken shawarma was £16 alone which we thought was greatly overpriced.Unfortunately we would not recommend this restaurant.

Staff were very friendly. I ordered the Chicken Tagine and it was simply delicious! The bread and dips for starters were great too. The only thing to be improved was that we had to ask three separate waiters for the bill over the space of 20 minutes before it finally came but let's put that down to the fact they were busy. I'll be back!
