I Ate at this cosy, intimate restaurant and wine bar for the first time last night. Had a wonderful evening. My friend and I shared the vegan fondue which was rich, silky, boozy, grown up and delicious. Nicola, the chef patron, added more magic with her warm, relaxed hospitality and palpable love of food. It really was a night to remember. Thank you to Nicola, Kim, Tony and everyone at 48 Bistro - you've created a little gem!

Fabulous food. Relaxed cosy, unique restaurant. Nicola is working so hard to make this place brill. Beef is melt in your mouth. Sweet potato and coconut soup to die for! Great wine. Great spacing. Incredible menu given the size of the restaurant and the fact Nicola is doing it all!

A great little place hidden near Oval, offers anything from brunch to dinner and great wine tasting every two weeks.I've just been to Argentinian wine tasting and got a chance to drink great wines, eat amazing home made food and spent time with great people. Service was amazing and it was amazing value for money. Totally recommend for anyone visiting the area!
