Had a gorgeous vegan burger here. Our waiter Patrick accommodated us so, so well after I had originally ordered a meal and didn’t eat it. He went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our experience in Black&Blue. Couldn’t have been anymore lovely and helpful.

Easy burger, steaks and ribs place just opposite Waterloo Station and BFI Odeon IMAX cinema.Located under the railway arches the restaurant is spacious and lively but not too loud. Decoration is somewhere near to a upperscale dinner American style but you'feel confa, don't worry.Steamed and Frites - nice, good deal for 17 GBP, Salmon nice cut for GBP 18, delicious, huge double burger for GBP 19 and a slightly undercut ribeye for GBP 31. Aside of the latter the meals were perfectly fine. We went out with GBP 117 for 4 of us. Can't complain for a central London place.

Lovely food & friendly atmosphere.I went for the ribeye steak which was slightly undercooked to what I ordered it (medium) it was more medium rare, but it was perfectly fine and I was happy to eat it without making a complaint. A BEAUTIFUL cut of steak. The accompanying fries and house salad was also a nice touch.Paired up with a Black Sheep Ale and Bellini for pudding, it made a lovely pre-theatre meal!

Went there for a date, we got the côté de boeuf and steak and frites to share. The rump steak from steak and frites was not to my liking it was very tough and chewy however the cote de boeuf was very tender and had great taste and is big enough to share for two.Service was great and the dessert cheese cake was tasty. The wine was ok I got the cheapest merlot and I must say I do prefer a Hardy’s £6 bottle of wine but it was half priced so nothing really to complain about. Amazing mojitos!! My partner spilt his drink and For a bill that cost over £150 I kind of expected them to replace it, I work in a restaurant and that’s what we would’ve done.Overall, lovely food, a favourite of mine to go on a date, and I will be back.

We just went to Black and Blue as we were starving and didn’t want to travel too far from Waterloo. The service was incredible, unfortunately we did not get the name of our waiter but his hair was in a ponytail. He was so friendly and kind and made the experience one to remember! The food was brilliant too but the service is what made it, he is a credit to your business.

100% recommend!!! Food 10/10. Service 10/10. I came here for the first time and I was extremely impressed. We ordered the bread to start off with ( u get to chose if u want butter or balsamic vinegar & oil), ribeye steak & swapped the chips for mash with a side salad & a side of sautéed mushrooms. The steak was cooked to perfection (my friend had medium-well, I had well done) and exactly as we asked. The mash was the best Ive tasted!!! I expected a simple side salad but they added shredded cheese & walnuts - it was really good. Portion sizes are very good and worth the price. I wouldnt say this was cheap but I have paid much more for decent steak which wasnt as great. Service was exceptional - really attentive & friendly!!! Restaurant was very clean & presentable. Our bill was £104 which included two double gins. I will be coming back

Was a very nice experience. The atmosphere was great even for a solo diner. The food was very good starter to main. Service was good and was relatively quick which is what I needed as I was going to a concert after. Would recommend for steak lovers.

I ordered Shetland Isles SalmonDill Créme Fraiche, Fries, House Salad, Shiraz, The Impressionist ‘Cosmic Cloud’, South Africa and diet Coca Cola (330 ml for an unknown price ). It wasn’t busy and staff where cordial towards me upon arrival. Music was playing in the back round, luckily no service charge for one person. Food was of decent quality and arrived on time, house salad wasn’t amazing but it was ok. Everything else was of good quality. Toilets where cleaned and had a interesting lay out for the male toilets. This restaurant is opposite Waterloo station

After always walking past this place, my dad and I finally decided to try it out. It’s a lot more spacious inside than we thought and the atmosphere of an evening is brilliant. The staff were delightful and the food tremendous. I have no complaints or even little things go pick at, it was that good. We will definitely be back.

This place was soo disappointing. Firstly our steak was cold and not done how we liked it. We had to send out salad back as we was not aware of the nuts in the salad. Our food was dry definitely not one for the books.
