Good food. Good attentive service. Cool ambiance. And we got 50% discount through our friends so it was a top notch night out.We ordered various appetisers. I especially liked the artichoke dip. My main was shrimp burger which was divine. Good selection of cocktails too.

A beautiful hidden gem in Brixton.Situated just a 5 (or so) minute walk from the station, The Blues Kitchen offers beautiful BBQ & "soul" food.I had the sechuan baby back ribs for starters - AMAZING!And the Brisket sandwich with bacon gravy. Absolutely stunning! All washed down with a home made iced tea.For dessert I had a banana milkshake that was equally as nice. Will definitely return again in the future and would recommend anyone in or visiting Brixton to pop in and have a taste of what The Blues Kitchen has to offer.

Gorgeous venue with a nice speakeasy vibe. The food is delicious and unusual - this was the first time I’ve ever had blue corn chips with spinach and artichoke dip! The staff are super friendly and the food comes really quickly. I’ll definitely be going back!

Good place for a Brass Band!Sar at the bar and would recommend for small groups.Bar food: 4/5Bar service: no Bar service, customers need to gey their own food + drinksGeneral service: 4/5There is an upstairs which is normally for events, would recommend.

Food was seasoned well, meat was tender and portion size was more than I could handle in one sitting. I wasn't sure i'd like the cheesburger spring rolls but i'm actually sad there were on two per portion lol. Will definitely order again along with the buffalo wings! The atmosphere was lively for a Monday night. Busy but not in a loud overcrowded way. Maybe the Monday/Tuesday keyring deal had something to do with that. Our server Jodie was absolutely lovely. Very attentive and very sweet. Much deserving of the tip we left!A good night was had by all in our party!!

Service was excellent: reception was smiling at first arrival, Thia and her teammates were very good at taking care of us (table of 10). Food and drinks were delivered promptly and at the right time.Drinks were nice, the menu has various options and the bar is well furnished and prepared even though I would have loved more options for alcol free cocktails and an alcol free beer, but I am sure that if I'd ask the bartenders they would have made any requests (and anyway that is just me).Food was abundant and innovative, and I really appreciated the options for vegetarians and vegans. We went for the set menu and couldn't finish the mains. The fried chicken was very well seasoned and tasted amazing. I would have loved to try a dessert but I was too full.Premises were amazing, cool set up and marvelous graffiti that compensate the fact that the toilets were upstairs. Toilet (men) clean and with pleasant wood touches. The place is very nice.Atmosphere and overall experience very positive. The place gets 5 stars, live music happy people: either if you go with friends and or with your partner or date it is absolutely recommend!

Been there few times now. Each time I loved it more. Great service, lovely staff. Every single food on the menu tastes amazing, my favourite one is vegan cauliflower wings. Cocktails are also brilliant. Interior design just keeps surprising you. Strongly recommended.

We had a lovely dinner out. Was our first time coming to The Blues Kitchen and we were pleasantly surprised at how amazing every dish was.I had the Big Shrimpin burger with fries and a side of Mac&CheeseMy friend had the Boss Burger with fries and Mac&cheese too.Perfectly sized portions and everything was cooked amazingly well. We definitely plan to attend again and will probably make this our regular spot so we can try out more of the menu!

This place was amazing. As soon as we went inside we knew it was special! We had an early tea as we were attending a concert at the 02 academy down the road but even then it was busy. The staff are what made this place even more special! They all were so helpful and polite! And then the food! Amazing. I went with the brisket sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. Then finished it off with the Oreo donuts. Yum! And being from Bristol visiting on the weekend it was nice to see a cider available! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Lovely spontaneous visit to Blues Kitchen for brunch, the popcorn Cajun squid was beautiful! I had the Big Shrimp Burger with chips & Mac n’ Cheese for the main, it was decent but I think I was expecting a bit more jazz! Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience and the decor is absolutely stunning. Staff were so friendly & accommodating.
