This is an absolutely shocking place if you over 25. Sweaty creatures everywhere dancing around to badly mixed pop/ dance music. The time I visited, I paid £7 to get in and queue for 15 mins for a beer. Wonderful, was also full of a whole rugby team- being ‘lads’. Banter awaits for the brave, the brash and those with bad taste.

Such good music. And thats where the compliments stop. £6 cover and loads of youngsters, wait, superly drunk youngsters- jumping and pushing all over the dance floor. If you looking for more of an older crowd that actually has some manners and a place with bouncers that actually kick out guys that are falling all over the place then this is not the place for you. Such a pity.

The food was terrible. 3 different plates of dim sum were still frozen on the inside. Even when we sent them back, they still came back cold and they tried to charge us still! The cocktails were nice, but for a Friday night dinner the atmosphere was dead - would not return.

Just had some amazing food and wine in lovely surroundings. The prawn and lobster dim sum was truly divine, along with the baked beef and cabbage bun!! Our attentive and very helpful waitress help to make the evening even more enjoyable! (Especially as we had enjoyed 4 bottles of the Chilean merlot, and required guidance)This is a lovely beautiful gem of a place within the wonders of Clapham!!Can't wait to try it on a Friday or Saturday nightBig 👍👍👍👍👍

Very very very poor, I will never go back to this place and I don't suggest anybody to go to this restaurant or bar.The Dim Sum they offer are so bad, are freeze and not fresh, they have nothing to do with Chinese dim sum, if you are expecting to try some real dim sum, don't never go to this place. The Dim Sum they serve are cold inside, and when you order one dish and they just bring whatever they want to serve. And they are very very very slow.I have never been this kind of restaurant before, such a bad experience. I feel so bad after eat their food.really disgusting

It was fine but the bouncer was quite rude (although the girl at the door was nice which made up for it a bit!) and the music wasn't great. There ended being a bunch of us just waiting in the bathroom hoping the music would improve!

Decent - especially so if taking advantage of their various offers that are on. Is it purist Chinese? No. Is it fun and an ideal place to kick off your evening? Yes. Good cocktails, laissez-faire service in funky (good or bad) surroundings.

Arrived for dim sum, 8.30 Friday night, opening week. Curious to see how it was operating... Initial thoughts were that it was a large space set up to accommodate large numbers of late-night Clapham-ites, rather than the dim-sum hunters that we were. The menu was unwieldy and confusing (and we know our Uk Dimsum), so ended up ordering standard stuff - Har Gau, Siu Mai, along with some of the easily identifiable prawn, beef and pork dumplings. The results were actually really good - very fresh tasting dumplings, hand made, which is surprising for Har Gau, and throughly enjoyable. At that time though, the venue has a real identity crisis which was a problem for us diners. Fortunately for the venue, there was a crowd of Friday-evening drinkers that started filling the bar. Before that i was seriously questioning the soundness of their business model, given the size and layout of the place. Overall, the food was very good and to be recommended; though we're not sure that the blend of restaurant and nightclub is going be a sustainable venture in the long term...

Chinese restaurant hidden under a railway arch. Diners sit on high chairs within a dancefloor featuring a prominent bar and music-speakers hinting to an after-hours party. We ate about a dozen different items (all delish) however bringing one or two out at a time for a group of four was frustrating. Service swayed from polite to OCD - a waitress was more concerned with keeping the table clean than letting us have a fun meal on a Saturday. The menu is annoying too. The group has to use one form and list everything in one go which gets difficult to manage. No need for the fuss, just go back to taking orders like anywhere else...If you go strictly for the food you'll have a good time, albeit a touch pricey. They need to do a lot of work on the atmosphere.

Some people seem to be moaning that this place is like eating in a club... But surely in a place that doubles as a night venue that is to be expected? Eat before 10pm or book a seat around the front and you'll be fine. The food is very tasty and I love the chilled atmosphere earlier on. Very friendly staff (without the 'too cool, no smiles' attitude of some places like this). Recommended! Great cocktails and the pale ale is infused with kaffir lime which is cool. Also recommend Ngo Lam Gua Wau Tip and Jai Lai Wong Bao (dessert).
