Great Sunday afternoon.

Quite unbelievable value for money in this restaurant. The ambience is very much like a community space and it can be a little raucous, but another way to describe that is to say that there is a down to earth, and very warm, authentic environment. I could not recommend this restaurant more highly. It's a wonderful place and I will certainly return. A true hidden gem.

I was a bit scared that this wonderful restaurant would not return would not return after being closed for so long however it’s smaller offshoot two doors down has opened and hopefully the larger one will too. A great selection of Portuguese dishes of the day. And today is octopus rice for me though the feijoada was equally tempting.

Really nice casual Portuguese restaurant. Relaxed and laid back, and very friendly service. Had the gizzard as an appetiser, flavourful but a bit overcooked, so it was on the tougher side. The bacalao with smashed potatoes was nicely done, but most of the potatoes didn't really get much colour. The sardines were nicely grilled.Would recommend it for a relaxed dinner. Avoid the house red though.

Excellent food , ordered large plates to share , expect to pay £20 upwards with soft drinks . 8 persons sharing . Excellent a regular haunt on my foodie list . Worth a visit . Note : if you want halal chicken ask in advance and they will oblige.

There's not much to say other than... Incredible food. You might find the prices steep but for what you get it really isn't, I was pleasantly surprised with the incredibly generous portion of octopus and how it was oh so yummy! Authentic Portuguese cuisine, a little piece of home right in London.

The place is clean, staff very polite and pleasant. The food was excellent. It’s a nice restaurant to take the family and friends even if it’s a big group, but it is a big group remember to book.

What a pleasant surprise! Super delicious authentic Portuguese food not far from Stockwell and Oval station. The atmosphere is very relaxed and staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Yummy!!! You won’t regret visiting.

It’s just like being transported to Portugal with its authentic food and ambience. This casual setting restaurant in what’s known as ‘little Portugal’ quarters in south London will take you on Portuguese gastronomical journey of typical food and wine offerings from its various regions. Authentic dishes made well and great wines to suit each taste. Great value true to the origin. Enjoy

Love this Portuguese restaurant, not only had excellent traditional dishes, Sandra one of the owners is the most friendly and caring person. Highly recommended.
