Amazing sandwiches 🥪! And really nice and friendly deli. Thank you

Adorable little neighborhood cafe across the street from a garden. A perfect place for a relaxed sandwich and coffee.

I can’t believe I am writing thisThere was a huge gum stuck to the bottom of the cup and I realized it after finishing 4/5 of my flat white.I am still terrified. I was in total shock so I forgot to take a picture of it but when I told the owners they just gave my 3 pounds back. Nobody should have to experience this! I wouldn’t drink a pre-chewed-gum-stuck-latte if I were paid to do so!!This totally ruined a fine day. And I’m so sorry it happened. Please wash your cups! I mean you had one job and the glass is transparent!!

Unwelcoming, rude and un professional. waiting for our coffee for 30 minutes, didn’t show up. Owner more interested in chatting to regulars and ignoring everyone else. Food served in paper bags and was OK, certainly not best Italian food in London

·

Great little cafe, service was good and the food really hit the spot after a long night. I would definitely recommend their baked goods!

GO TO BONNINGTON CAFE INSTEADWow - such a heart breaking shame to see how this place has deteriorated. A once great community deli has been replaced with low quality, expensive goods and staff members who seem to actively antagonise their customers creating a palpable ~bad vibe~. At best, this place is maybe acceptable for a take away coffee to sit with in the square across the street (only when the more than friendly and fairly priced boddington cafe is closed)

Nice little cafe in a lovely street. Lots of outdoor seating so good place to go for lunch during the summer. Food is a tad expensive for what you get but good nevertheless.

Service is terrible, no menu other than a paper where it's not clear was for breakfast and what's for lunch. They don't want to change anything on the menu. The girl behind the counter was clueless we had arrived even if we had been there for ages. Very good hipster and lacks professionalism. Not sure about the rave reviews.

Bonnington Square is a special place, one of the very few parts of central London untouched by the zombie plague of chain shops and gentrification. Italo is a wonderful place for brunch, coffee or to pick up delicious treats to take home. You need it in your life.

I really, really wanted to like this place and here's the reason for one star.WARNING: long read.GOOD:The food was outstanding, paninis as well as lunch menu consisting of a Sri Lankan daal, which two of my friends Had in addition to their two orange juices.Location - situated off the main street in a picturesque square near a public park with one way lanes made it ideal for an outside meal.BAD/SAD:It really is disappointing to write this, as the service was SEVERELY disappointing. We caught on early on when the servers were bringing out incorrect orders for both coffee as well as food to multiple tables, including our own. My two friends, who ordered the daal, were brought out more to which we told them we already finished them. We noticed this happened with a nearby table where they had already consumed their coffee.Upon paying at the end of the meal, my two friends who had identical orders, paid separately. The lady who was taking their payments instructed the gentleman who was taking my payment that I had ordered the same as theirs, which was incorrect as I ordered the ham and cheese panini and espresso (pictured). Not sure why she had this assumption as she didn't take my order to begin with and this was the first time I was even in contact with her. The lady who was trying to assist, left and then the gentleman asked for the payment but I mentioned what I actually ordered. He kindly took the payment and then me and my two friends proceeded to leave the café. Upon almost crossing the road, the lady, who I will now identify as the one with brown hair, green/blue eyes and a Nike sports top, stopped us in front of ALL of the customers and accused me quite aggressively that I did not pay for my orange juice. She asked what I ordered and I detailed exactly what I did in front of other customers, who were.now listening to this conversation. She then mentioned that there were 3 glasses of orange juice, indirectly accusing me of lying about my order. Obviously this was a horrible and embarrassing experience.I soooo wanted to like this place, but a great panini with a side of false accusations and unwanted sass is not on the top of my favourite things.Aside from this I don't think she should be smoking in front of the customers, all within breathable distance from outside diners.Happy for y'all to contact me about this.
