I feel strongly both ways about this branch. They are quick with standard orders, no denying it. But if you ask for anything optional like extra cheese on a cheeseburger they give you a look of deep offence as if you had just announced you enjoy getting physically intimate with farm animals. Then they say it will be a 20 minute wait, as they presumable call the police in response to such a disgusting demand.

Decent enough McDonald's as long as you don't want any sauce. Never been given my sauces and or dips here. If you like a dry fry, you're in good hands

If you want a quick meal and not bothered about sitting down then this is a branch for you. Food is the same as any other McD. There are no seats / tables. There is no self service boards so you have to line up and order at the till. Service is pretty quick. No bins to put your rubbish in either. This branch can get pretty busy as it's at Waterloo station and also because of the students from nearby Uni going here.

The delivery service is rubbish! No happy meal box after leaving it out completely first time round, no wrap so when they resent the chips were cold & no sauce sent! Ruined a takeaway evening with my grandkids, will not order takeaway McDonald's again!

It's one of the most crowded McDonald's I have ever seen. It's located in the waterloo station. A long queue will welcome you during your visit to this. It's not offering affordable meal options. It's meant for the passengers in the station. You have tables here with less capacity and you are supposed to stand and complete your meal.

I understand the lack of space in the train station but the entire way this mc donald works is weird. No screen with order number, standing counter to eat, no bin to throw away and help the staff. It was not a nice experience.

My lettuce was on life support, bun a bit stale, Lady thought I said vanilla instead of chocolate milkshake? At least the chips were nice and the milkshake was a good consistency.

They are efficient at ordering but the food tastes of nothing. Tried again after a while. The chicken nuggets and cheese burger taste neither like chicken or beef! I feel ill after eating here. This is not food for human consumption!

Terrible experience. Ordering is by shouting at someone behind a screen who takes your payment but doesn’t really listen and who verbally gives you an order number but crucially no receipt. Then you stand in a crowd of confused people who can’t remember their order number whilst random order numbers are shouted out at you over a counter. There’s nowhere to sit and nowhere to eat in despite Covid restrictions long having been lifted and ventilation being good in this part of the station close to the entrance. Then your order apparently gets forgotten about by the staff (as mine was) and higher order numbers start to get called out. I don’t know if McDonald’s are relying on you giving up and walking away having already paid but once the order numbers being called reached more than 20 numbers higher than mine I decided to intervene. Clearly this approach completely confused the staff behind the counter who apparently had no record or recollection of my order so I have to explain my order for a second time and the staff member just had to take my word for it. This is a totally rubbish system and a terrible customer experience. Shrugging, scowling and shouting is not good customer service. I won’t be back. Life is too short to be treated like this. This is McDonald’s at its absolute worst and there are far better places for food on Lower Marsh just round the corner.

This McDonald's is placed at one of the entrances of Waterloo station. It is small and currently due to the pandemic, does not offer dine-in but you can place an order and take away from there. Covid protocol is being followed, all the staff members are wearing a mask and social distancing for the customers is being maintained. Offers very quick service!
