Although the selection of products is quite decent, the level of hygiene is abysmal.I went there during the pandemic to buy some treats (cured meats, etc...). No one was wearing a mask. One of the owners (?) was eating behind the counter. When I asked to have some mortadella sliced, they didn't even wash their hands, touching the meat and the packaging liberally without even wearing gloves (their hands were definitely not clean, as the person handling the cured meat was tidying up the shop before I asked to be served).I almost walked out leaving everything behind. Ended up paying as I was too embarrassed to say something and put everything in the first bin I came across.I have no idea of their food hygiene rating, but I was so put off by that interaction that I would never set foot there again.

Best food I’ve had since I’ve been in London !!

If you want panettone come here. If you want authentic Italian produce, this is where you win big. Come to Mimi's.

Terrible. No idea why this place has any good reviews. The business owners have little to no people skills. My pasta was reheated in a microwave, luke warm on the outside and stone cold on the inside. When I asked for it to be heated up some more, the owner starts shouting and getting very huffy about it. She was essentially telling me that I was making it up. By then, the owners were clearly not happy with my complaint as the remaining service was cold and quite frankly, stroppy. When my toddler started to cry which lasted no more than 20 seconds as he was getting tired and restless, she marched over and berrated me about disturbing the other customers. Such a shame, as I really wanted to support a family run business. Their arrogance will be their downfall.Summary. Not child friendly. Food terrible. Service terrible.

Fantastic sandwiches and cannoli, great selection of cheese and proper Italian salsiccia in the shop. Run by really nice people, just a great local deli all round.

A friendly, family-run, deli in Kennington that's really worth a visit. The focaccia was still delicious and it has a great selection of meat, cheese and wine to take away. Go!

The guy who helped me was really prepared about their product and really helpful, I was nearly buying everything!!! But I didn't like the pressure that the lady with the dark long hair on the till was putting on him and I preferred to pay and leave. The parmigiana of aubergine was really bitter!!!

Wow, what wonderful food this place sells. It's not cheap but it's great quality. An amazing range of Italian cheeses, breads, olives, coffee. The pastries are out of this world. Great staff too, full of enthusiasm, fun and a genuine love for Italian food. Stupendo!

I really like sandwiches here, very tasty! I tried their pasta but unfortunately I have to admit I ate better ones. But I come back for sandwiches quite often. Staff are very nice.
