Oaka at the Mansion House in Lambeth

Just arrived in London for work and came to Oaka for supper - again! It's like coming home! The staff are delightful, very attentive and make us so welcome, the food is great at the atmosphere vibrant! Thank you!

The waitresses are super nice here, they making service so easy and with such a smile. (the barman on the other hand - behaved like it's his last day. But the ladies saved the day 😊

Delicious food. I’ve ordered takeaway twice and it was lovey but definitely recommend going at sitting in. Nice place, music and service. Good beers.

Attended Valentine's night & received a fantastic service, friendly staff & amazing food

We just celebrated my husband's birthday here...I don't normally leave reviews, but on this occasion, I had to. We had a wonderful night! The bar is beautiful. The food (with newly updated menu) was thoroughly enjoyed. We would happily come here again. Thank you so much to the staff who were all amazing; with particular thanks to the awesome man in charge!

Absolutely excellent... the best food I have tasted in years. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect service and an excellent choice of drinks. If you haven't been here you must go!

I liked the place, decoration and attentive staff, not my Singapore noodles that weren’t tasty and bit greasy. I was expecting more flavour.

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars instead of one is because at least all the items were in my delivery and it was pretty quick. The food was all LOADED with sugar. Dishes that were supposed to have vegatables in them had at most 5 pieces. Most dishes were deep fried and or soggy as if they were prepared in the morning and sitting out all day. And on top of that the portions were insanely small. We paid £80 for not enough food for two people. We wound up cooking anyway to have fiber to help digest and not get diabetes.

We’re relatively local to this restaurant and weren’t too sure what to make of it when we walked past, thinking it was a pub from the outside. Then we saw the excellent reviews and realised we had to try it. The food was fantastic, particularly the salmon fish cakes and panang curry; fresh, fragrant and with the right level of spice (spice level of the curry was modest but could be increased by eating the green chillis, we went without!) Both could have been mistaken for dishes in far more expensive restaurants and reminded us of the food we’ve had in Asia in Will Meyrick restaurants. The service was also excellent, attentive throughout, we were provided menus, offered to order drinks and food at the right times. Staff were polite and friendly. The interior is also really well done, contemporary but also tying in with the menu. Toilets were perfectly clean. I can’t recommend this place enough, we’re lucky to have it nearby! We will be back soon.
