Papa's Cafe in Lambeth

Amazing cafe, Valcie the cafe owner is a really down to earth person. Usually working alongside her husband and family members. Her Carribean food as well as toastie and teas are amazing!! There is a park baby park, kids park and Astroturf football pitch. It's all newly rebuilt and has a dynamic welcoming atmosphere! This park profits of the community so help it stay open by buying from the cafe and using it's facilities!

Lovely little coffee shop/cafe, also offers English and Caribbean hot snacks, including some gluten free and vegan. Friendly staff, reasonably priced, some seating inside and plenty outside which is sheltered. Has a small function room for hire, subject to Covid. Supports selling homemade cakes and artist work from the community. The recently refurbished playground and pitch is right next door, so ideal for your refreshments. Only a 5 minute walk from the Brixton high street which has ample buses etc. Generally permit parking but some free parking after 5.30pm.

Extremely friendly service and fresh-cooked food. Open until 6 so great for summer evenings in adjacent playground.

Food is amazing and the staff are lovely and friendly, toilets are very clean too. My daughter loves this park and I love that they have a café!

Great place in park which has just been refurbished. Great vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes, suitable for children's food. Good coffee and great jerk chicken... best in Brixton ("or your money back!" said the owner)

A lovely community cafe and their garden is looking amazing for the Summer! Down a quite street and place for kids to play and shaded tables for adults

Lovely cosy place but a little cramped together..food is fantastic and very friendly polite service..will definately be going back there.

Very friendly people. I like the little pond and vegetables. And the place is very tidy and there are lots of toys for the kids of all age.You can by soft drinks, hot drink and food. I enjoyed drinking coffee out side the cafe while I watched my child playing.Thanks to all who puts the effort to make it perfect.
