Solid Portuguese with extensive menu of regional favourites. Great quality meat and seafood. The simple grilled fresh style was nice. The beer on tap is excellent. Will be going back and trying different selections as I'm a fan.

This well-established Madeiran restaurant is reliable, and I always look forward to their grills, professional waiters and real cotton napkins.I chose "medium rare" lamb cutlets, and the kitchen lost its fifth star by bringing lamb so rare that it was inedible for me-- but they quickly gave it extra grill time and my six cutlets were delicious. As a huge plate of veggies always comes included with most dishes, I didn't need a dessert (or starter). And the giant serve of bread with olives as an hors d'oevres, for only about £3, allowed me to take much of it home. You can view their many cold desserts in the fridge at the back of the dining room. They do cater for the many local Portuguese speakers by continuoslyplaying tele with footie matches in the front bar (if want just a snack) . But the volume is never too loud and annoying.Parking in the streets behind is pretty easy if you come after hours, or it's easy walking from Vauxhall tube station. On some evenings I would give Pico a fifth star, as it's ridiculously good value for what you get!

Wonderful food and wine and impeccable service. Great ambiance and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was paced just right and they allowed doggie bags. First class tapas!

The cakes!!!!!! Wow! A selection of delicious desserts. I had tiramisu with lady fingers. Light and delicious!

Mediocre. We happened to go in when passing because we didn't know the area. Had dinner and it was ok, perfectly passable, though not exciting. Service was short, unengaging, but ok. We had ice cream for dessert but it was displayed in a 1970's type laminated menu where the ice cream is obviously bought from a supermarket. The whole thing was very busy which possibly means our opinion doesn't count for much, but it would take an overhaul and update for me to return. Nothing wrong with it as such, just very boring

Amazing food. However, the portions are large. I only eat calf liver here. Great staff, great food. Perfect!

Everything it was absolutely fantastic, as this is my 1st visit everything was fine and great service by the team. Pricing I'm not sure but I felt it was little bit high but I feel it's worth for their service. Hope will visit again personally and will update it.

This is a favourite with friends and family alike. The portions and the prices in this place are very good. The food is a mix of Portuguese, Spanish and general mediterranean so they have a wide range of very familiar dishes from tapas to something simple like Steak and Chips or beef stroganoff This is very much the type of restaurant that you could find anywhere in southern Europe. They have a traditional waiter service and their waiters are very good at their job. My family and I have always felt very welcomed here and very well looked after by the staff. Highly recommended if you want to go with friends or family - the variety of people that go to this restaurant just goes to show that this is a quality restaurant enjoyed by many people.

We regularly ate at Pico Bar & Grill when we lived in London a few years ago, and like most places we used to enjoy & frequent they're all still in business and still offer the same great food and service, and some like Picos have added outside wining and dining.Pico, a Portuguese restaurant and tapas bar, was very busy on Sunday evening. It's just a two minute walk from Vauxhall Station and has a number of Santander Cycle docking stations scattered nearby, always our favoured mode of transport. The menu hasn't changed a great deal, why change something that customers enjoy and that clearly works. Also the management is the same so the emphasis on good service runs through the heart of the business in the same way that the railway line runs above it, not that it detracts in anyway as the trains rattle by above. The garlic mushrooms to start with were a solid starter, nothing too flamboyant, the monkfish lightly cooked in chilli 🌶 was great and the duck breast in red wine sauce was cooked rare and just right. The Portuguese lager, Sagres, is very light and refreshing. A relaxing couple of hours, enjoying our meal and watching the world go by, as well as Jaguar Land Rover group cars passing on their way to and from the Wimbledon tennis dedicated hotel in Westminster 🎾 almost every couple of minutes or so.Great food 😋 and great service 👍 at Picos.

My favourite restaurant in all of London, I've been visiting here for years, the service is attentive and professional. The drinks are varied and well served and the food is, well, phenomenal. They do an excellent job to impress each and every visit and I look forward to returning for many years to come!
