Rose Palace Takeaway in Lambeth

Decent pub. Just had a drink but the food looks good. Next time I'll try it. Helpful bar staff. Good seating.

A stunning place on the Albert Embankment. A pub since Victorian times, perhaps " Ye Olde Rose" who knows, survived the odd cholera epidemic or two. A wonderful pub with much beer, me says. A great fun place to go on your own or with friends. Super menu in a not fussy style but with loads of imagination. A huge and exceptional upstairs, looking over the Thames, Millbank (Spelling, not sure) and the seat of wisdom to the east. Staff here are second to none, lovely attentive, polite and efficient. What a great place for a pint!

Lovely bar, but losing 1 stars because of absolute diabolical smell of huge dampness. I used to frequent it when it was Rivers bar many years ago. It still looks the same but extended out back. Staff were amazing but could not get over the smell.

It's a lovely life place. Though it could get really busy, the staff are on the ball. Probably they will reach you just on time you might need them.It's definitely a good idea to reserve a table in advance if you are a group visiting at the weekend.

We were invited to a private party at the Rose. Must say all staff were really lovely and worked extremely hard. Food was hot and delicious. Beautiful views of the Thames

Great pub! Very funky music under the candlelights. Alejandro was a very friendly waiter and gave us great suggestions for beer and food. Totally recommended!

Amazing location. Amazing food. Great decor and interior. Awesome music and ambiance. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend the Wild Mushroom Risotto and 28 Day Aged Sirloin Sandwich.

Went to The Rose yesterday for a Sunday Roast. The vibe inside the pub was gorgeous! We got seated straight away even though it was busy & we hadn't booked. The only feedback I just want to give is that the menu inside wasn't the same as the menu online. I did quite a bit of Google searching to find somewhere that did a good vegan Roast, and the online menu says that this option is a "Vegan Wellington" (which I was looking forward to!) but the vegan Roast option that was on the menu at the venue was a "Portobello Stack"... I was expecting some sort of mushroom wellington but it was actually just 2 portobello mushrooms. Don't get me wrong, the food was tasty and the portion sizes were great, but I essentially just had a plate of vegetables.

Went there for a birthday dinner. The quality of the beef was great. There's a limited but very good wine menu, plus plenty of options as far as cocktails are concerned. Toilets are fairly clean. Staff are friendly.

Didn't stay here long, just popped in for a pint but it was a very nice experience. This place is decorated extremely well for Christmas. It's quite stunning. It even smells of cinnamon due to the recent deployment of Muld wine. Nice job here Mr owner 👍
