What a great experience!I’ve been meaning to come here for a long time now and it did not disappoint. Even choosing a meal was difficult as everything on the menu sounded incredible.Went with pumpkin soup, the duck and the steak in the end and mouthwatering is an understatement. To icing on the cake, the service was top notch and the ambience was perfect.I look forward to trying more of the menu- would highly recommend!

I wasn't overly impressed with Skylon. Been wanting to go for a long time and finally managed a visit. Staff polite but not very passionate/engaging. Interior very uninspiring. Two tables next to us had been cleared but not cleaned or reset, didn't help improve the lacking ambience. Food was well cooked but the set menu was uninspiring. Single grilled chicken breast with some truffle mash tasted nice but nothing special. £205 for arrival cocktails, three courses and a bottle of wine for 3. Hmmm don't think I'll rush back.

Absolutely gorgeous meal here! With great views also. The scallops starter was to die for. Managed to get a table without making a reservation which was extremely lucky. Staff was very friendly. Great decor and atmosphere. Really impressed 👍🏼

The restaurant looks very nice, has a great views, good food however the service lets it completely down.We went to a show and told the person taking our order we only had 1hr 30. So we chose from the 3 course set menu. The time between the courses was terrible. It’s like they forgot we were there.Since the gap between to courses was so long we had to stop the dessert. When we did this we asked for the bill. It came to us with the dessert where we again described that we didn’t want the dessert as we were now out of time. They did take the desserts off however I quickly paid for the meal I didn’t notice the billThere was a 13% service charge on it I would have taken off the bill as it wasn’t deserved. The poor table next to us had to get up to get their wine as it was in an ice bucket near the table but no one was topping up their wine. The rest of the experience was good but very let down on the service. One good step would be empowering their colleagues to be able to make decisions rather than having to get a manager who then take as a long time to come to the table

Utter garbage. The set menu is a fraud, this place does not represent D&D whatsoever. The terrine and slice of toast with pickle from a jar, followed by mediocre mains and a so called crumble which is 2mm of filling under about 3 inches of muesli. I told the waitress the starter was terrible and she laughed. I told the other staff I was not paying for the starter and they knocked £10 off my bill. I booked and stated it was a birthday booking, no acknowledgement of that, no birthday plate absolutely f all from this place. No wonder it had availability where all the other better restaurants I wanted to visit were fully booked for December. Not to mention sticky tables, dilapidated toilets. Do not visit this place. I wish I have booked elsewhere or just stayed at home.

Most exquisite food in all three courses ! The steak tartare was beautifully marinated and well balanced with a soft and scrumptious soft boiled egg melting into the beef, the beetroot and the spring onion. My companion's scallops was also cooked and sauced in perfect balance. Then the mains of the duck breast was a knockout, skin still crispy and a deep thick juicy tender meat under. The hazelnut ice cream was a delight. The service was charming but a bit on the slow side all the time. The atmosphere in this bright delightful room facing the river was always airy and relaxing. You can hear yourself and your companion speak and no irritating thoughtless background music. A bit over pricey. Recommended.

I cannot believe we paid almost £1000 for such tasteless food. The food I had was below average. No exaggeration. I took a bite off all my friend's foods and everything was bland. It wasn't value for money. I'd give a 1* but the only reason I've said 2* is because of the friendly staff and nice ambiance.I requested for halal chicken and they didn't even have it on the day. Overall NOT happy so don't waste your money here :)The ambiance of this place is just wow and the service of some of the staff member is outstanding however everything was so bland and tasteless.. other than the chocolate bomb, I didn't like the taste of a single thing and would not suggest anyone to waste their money buying anything from here.. but overall I had a good experience because my friends made my evening so special and it was their company that made it up for the tasteless menu.

Excellent location and vibe. There was a live saxophone performance when we visited. The food was average and not a good value for money. Not many options for vegan guests either. The service can be significantly improved.

We came here for a celebratory lunch. The service (from Marco) was second to none but we had to send the duck back because it was overdone having already waited a very long time for our mains. In the end it was good but at this level you expect better.

Superb food and superb service. Had a meal with the family (2 adults and kids aged 5-12). Children were well catered for. Extremely attentive service, particularly from Sandro (hopefully spelt correctly). Food was delivered all at the same time. Sounds bizarre to comment on that but so many restaurants do not do this much anymore. Thanks!
