This place has the BEST Chinese foods in the area with very reasonable prices. My word! And itβs impressively run by only 1 lady who does everything from taking orders to cooking so donβt take it too personally if anything seems hasty. Good timekeeping too.

On a wet and windy Saturday night, myself and my girlfriend went in and had a great meal even though the lass was cooking what looked like 1000 different things, (she even showed us how much on her phone). Would happily go back when we are visiting again.

Going off a recommendation, big mistake.π My first impression - dodgy looking road side shop. After I ordered, paid and realised I was overcharged, the shop owner advised the menu I went by 'online' was 3years old and prices have gone up. Of course it's understandable if the standard of food was on par. Ultimately the was rushed and cooked in a lot of grease, bad first time experince. Two* is given out of courtesy; I hope the service improves.

Tasty, delicious food! As others have said, long wait, but worth it! There was only one person working in the kitchen and she made sure we felt welcomed.

No que, freshly cooked food, really generous portions and much better than what we have at home. Top job. Definitely go there again.

Food is good, most popular dishes start at Β£6.50 they prefer cash as opppse to card payments, the chef is a lone worker, so answering phone, taking orders and cooking waiting times can become rather ridiculous, there is no immediate parking local to the takeaway as is through way to cycle lane. As I said the food is good and is the reason why I use them but your best bet is to call ahead and place a order. There is no delivery service so must collect.

Cheap and tasty Chinese take away. But long wait and bad service. the food was also too greasy. The beef brisket was tender and really big portion. The large Spring rolls were full of beansprout and sweet and sour pork was not good.

So sad to see a gradual decline in food. Been a customer for nearly 7 years.Used to be fresh and great tasting, but, now it has finally got to a point to say that it's not good enough anymore.Prices go up and I get that, but now it does not carry great value with more opening nearby as the area is being improved.Ordered dumplings. They were fried on one side only, causing them to fall apart and be too soft and non edible.Beef chow mein was too greasy, needs to be a bit of a drier recipe, this caused the beef to be soggy and chewy. The spices were good and added flavour but the texture was not right.

Decent local takeaway, I was flabbergasted to discover the 'crabmeat' and sweetcorn soup can out of a tin but it had added prawn meat and was tasty and hot, the prawns with salt and chilli were flavourful with really hot chilli but were a bit chewy rather than crispy crunchy, I suspect this is because they were battered earlier and then chucked in the wok to reheat. As you can tell you can see straight into the kitchen which is reassuring and I'm sure they're not doing anything differently to your average Chinese takeaway. The woman behind the counter was really nice, prices are good for zone one and they're open late and on Sundays which is convenient.
