Great Sunday afternoon in the Alleyns Head. My family and I picked from the Sunday fixed price lunch menu which was very good value for money. You could either have 1 course for £10.49, 2 courses for £12.49 or 3 course for £14.49. We all went with the 3 course. Everyone was happy with their food which all varied from the Soup of the day, Parsley Breaded Mushrooms and King Prawn Cocktail. Mains were Roasted Pork Loin, Trio of Roasts and Lentil & Spinach Pie. All finished off with desserts; Treacle pudding with Custard and Salted Caramel Billionaires Gold Bar with Strawberry sauce. The service was excellent. We will definitely visit again.

After 2 long years I could finally take mum to lunch. She has alzheimers and so was a bit apprehensive but the lady serving us was amazing. Friendly, caring and attentive. Thank you we will be back soon.

We had a gathering here after a family funeral. The food was delicious and the staff really couldn’t do enough for us. Brilliant, friendly staff and Manager. Would definitely recommend it as a place to go for good food and a warm welcome.

Great food, so well priced and good quality. Absolutely great waitress, made us all feel so welcome and she was so accommodating (we had two little-uns with us). Decor was very Christmassy especially with the two fireplaces. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely pub, been in a few times. The food is fantastic and not overpriced. They have a dedicated Vegetarian and Vegan menu, again with fantastic food. Ayla was our waitress for the meal and she was fantastic! Never met a better waiter. Funny, witty, very attentive, she couldn't have done better! Left her a £20 tip and she earned it.

Absolutely Amazing place to eat!Had lunch with some friends and the food was exceptional.It was on par with a top restaurant, so delicious.The prices are so cheap for such amazing food.I enjoyed it so much I suggested going here for a meal with some other friends and the table as been booked!Can't wait...The lady who served us was so friendly and welcoming.

We went in a group of 3. One person with reduced mobility and another with limitations in listening.However, the pub was easily accessible and the music in there wasn't disturbing at all.Lovely, polite, professional, friendly...staff and the food: OMG!!! The food was delicious for a incredibly reasonable price.Also, we were allowed to play scrabble and definitely, obviously...we will come back again and again.
