Celebrating at last he reopening of this restaurant!! What a lovely place, underneath the arches!! Great atmosphere, great service the staff could not do enough for us. And...marvellous food, far better than expected. Live jazz! Could not fault a thing! Thank you

Had a lovely evening, the staff were friendly and the service was great. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced.

Food was average- burger patty was low end meat, fries thin and a weird sweetcorn sweet and sour side. The waiters were lovely thought. Lots of potential just low quality ingredients.

What a fantastic surprise. I booked this restaurant to have a meal before a show at the Southbank Centre and it was perfect.Location: a 5 min walk up the stairs to Southbank Centre and 3 min walk from Waterloo Station.Ambience: 10 out of 5 stars! We were seated next to the window with the view of the London Eye, there was live jazz with a grand piano and décor of the whole place was musically inspired.Service: 10 out of 10! They were attentive and food was excellent. A simple steak and chips dish was done well.I would 100% return.

We went there for an early dinner on a weekday. Place was busy but they managed to get us a table (even without reservation).Waiter was friendly and helpful, as we had some non native speakers in our group, the waiter was patient and helped to translate and explain some of the dishes on the menu.We had a three course menu (which is apperently offered for a discounted price in the afternoon), and a run eye steak. All our dishes were okay. The steak was however a little bit too pricy for the quality (especially considering that it came with french fries..Nonetheless a good place to eat if you are around.

Good for a meal before a show in the Southbank, and to watch people walk by outside. Staff is nice, food is good (my medium steak was a bit too tough, though), service is fast. The clotted cream (instead of ice cream) gave a nice touch to the pecan pie.

Great location for a restaurant, tucked in under a railway bridge, over many floors, loved the jazz playing in the background, set a nice mood and atmosphere, however the food was pretty mediocre considering the price tag, which let it down as I was expecting good things!

What an interesting place to put a restaurant/pub! Right underneath the railway. You can kind of hear and feel the trains passing by during your meal. Seriously!! I thought it was cool to experience that. When the trains passed it was not loud or disruptive all. We got to sit on the second floor away from the pub goers. So the noise level was quiet for us. I think the only thing I would have wanted to change was the waiters were all talking to one another a lot on the stairwell next to us. But other than that it was a great place to have dinner. The steaks were perfectly cooked. I would say one of the best steaks we've had by far. I highly recommend this place!!!

Decent food for a reasonable price, but at an excellent location with a view for people watching. This place is more about the ambiance than it is the food (food alone is 3 stars--not great, but not horrible). Salmon was overcooked and very bland tasting. But, if you want to stop and still take in the area/people, it's a good place if you can get a window seat/table. Live music is a neat feature.
