Very funky pub with regular comedy nights every week!Cool, privately owned little pub with lots of interesting corners to discover.Cozy couches insight and outside invite to chill and forget the time.On top they have different events and regular comedy nights.Perfect for comedy fans or comedy starters to try new material. The pub food is also very good, with just a limited offering, but freshly made pizzas and fries. We will be definitely coming back!

A lovely, quirky pub to have a drink with friends at. Great selection of drinks and good beer on tap, plus friendly staff. The live music is fun and the whole place has a really authentic vibe.

Really ace little pub, friendly staff, big outdoor area and very different on the inside than you'd expect! Good beer selection too, can't fault it :)

Nice place food and service was good .Went to watch comedy a few years ago with a mate .Funny comedy acts went on stage 🤣. Enjoyed my night out

All the stars go to the open mic night they have on. Used to go to it every week. Such great talent on that stage. If you’re after a good laugh - you have to check out the stand up night.

What a place! As a comedian, the Cav came highly recommended to me by a number of people. The decor inside is unique and a cracking place to have a drink, particularly on a dark winter's night. Also, their open mic night is one of the best on the circuit; they do a competition, the crowd is fantastic and always up for hearing new material.I'd 100% recommend the Cav for comedy, trying new material or even just a nice drink!

A very unusual public house ( pub).Very welcoming. I'm from North London and it's very rare to find such a welcome. The Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere makes a weary traveller comfortable. The decor is certainly very quirky and refreshing.I drink Cider, so can only comment on cider. Which was delicious, crisp and sweet. The weather was miserable, damp and wet.On a warmer night it would have been nice to sit outside. All in all great pub. Definitely will go back.

What a breath of fresh air! We were given such a warm welcome by the staff at the venue. The decor and the atmosphere is that of playful decadence, and the promoter actually seemed to care about putting on a line-up of quality bands that actually complemented each other. Quite possibly my favourite pub, anywhere.

Amazing place! It looks like your quirky nan's house that got cozied and dolled up with split personality. The cocktails were amazing in taste, punch, and presentation. The comedy bar, by far was the best! Loads of talent and laughter going on. Such an entertaining night! I'll definitely come back. ♥️
