Long established music venue, friendly staff, good selection of beers. Try the excellent bangers and mash!

Very friendly staff, great value Full plate of Sunday roast will definitely return would recommend as a no frills venue.

Got served a cloudy pint of lager that did not taste right at all. Pointed this out to staff who refused to pour me another saying it was fine. Won't be coming back here in a hurry, plenty other pubs in the area.

Cosy pub, fairly decent food at a good price, REALLY large portions! Nice to sit on the booths and have a quiet drink.

Pub was clean with a good selection of beers and spirits. The only down side was the DJ they had on to an almost half empty venue. Was hard to make conversations to people of our table

The staff here are extreamly pleasant and courteous. They smile and have a chat which makes a very welcome change. The garden area is comfortable and nicely furnished . And I must say it may not be the most upmarket venue , but take it from me some of these posh venues treat you with utter contempt do not smile and are quite hostile. Although some customers have a quite unpleasant attitude , The staff are a great asset . It could do with new carpet , and a lick of paint. Do go there good for families and get together. Full marks.

Used to be a regular wetherspoons but they changed their menu which is nice. Higher prices though but nice garden outside part thingy.

The outside is lively even on over cast days, the servers are kind and explained that before service each person had to check in with NHS app or provide contact details. There isn't a drinks menu at present and you have to pay at each request for drinks and food before you recieve it.

They have painted the pub so it is lighter and it almost lost its old smell. Had some good ales on tap but oversll not a large choice. Toilets were clean and ok. No wifi available at the time though it was sbowing on my phone. Seems like there is customer parking. Food service stopped at 7 pm. Staff served quick and there was a queuing system from the right as you walk in but not obvious at first entry. Nice pub for a local chat.
