I've enjoyed going to this pub in the past because they catered well for kids, and now I'm a fan because they are dog friendly. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food.

I love this place. Great food, great ale - from the international to the local micro-brewery, friendly staff, music nights, quizes, a busy downstairs with cool beer garden and a quieter lounge upstairs. Last but not least - decent crisps too!

We ate there on Saturday evening. Between us we had the vegan platter, the vegetarian quesadillas and the halloumi fries. All delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely go again.

The Great North Wood is a marvellous pub with a good range of beers, spirits and wines. It also serves great food. I was with friends who had a very top burger of meat and I had a vegan salad, no I'm not vegan, but as I am 65 I have my modelling career to consider of course. Food great, booze great, atmosphere great, and the staff were excellent and joined in with banter and humour. All round smashing!! Get there. You'll not be disappointed. I give this a TD rating. TOP DRAWER.

Popped in for a Sunday lunch. Had the salt and pepper squid for starters, pork belly roast and the chicken burger for mains and ended with the sticky toffee pudding. All of it was incredible. Food was really well prepared and tasty. Compliments to the chef! Service was also really good, and super fast too. Would highly recommend.

Booked online and was super easy. Went there for an early Sunday roast to take a friend who came to visit.Peaceful outside area, plenty of space. Inside is even better, they have a great range of drinks and the menu looked ace too.Right next to West Norwood station, which takes you West through Balham to Victoria and south east to Crystal palace and West Croydon.Super friendly staff, helpful and very pleasant. Noticed they also host pub quiz and show sports on their large screens. Lovely bar area too, will be visiting again.Give it a solid A****LDT x

Went here to watch a euro game and had a great time. The big screen upstairs was amazing and ordering through their website was easy and quick. Great selection of beers and food
