The Old Red Lion in Lambeth

This is a gorgeous pub in a converted old home. There are tons of mismatched pieces of furniture, good grub and a beer garden, which gets busy quickly! They always have a couple of guest ales too. Only drawback - the toilets are downstairs, so not accessibleEDIT: got a response from the business (thank you team!) letting me know there’s an accessible toilet in the conservatory (how have I missed it for 11 years? 😂) . Very nice atmosphere,great back garden and dog friendly. Good selection of beer and some of the more unusual drinks. Obviously quite a local pub which is nice in London.

We came here for Sunday lunch with the family in the summer, and the roast dinner was out of this world. However today (Feb 22) it wasn't that bad, definitely not to the taste of last time. We will be back again as we know what they can do. Maybe just a one off bad day.

Worst sunday roast. The quality of food is low. We order beef sunday roast and the beef was raw. They replaced it but the quality of meet was poor. Even veggies did not taste properly.Glasses for bear were dirty.Would not recommend this pub.

Chips were good but burger was just doused heavily in siracha, I like siracha too but would be nice to actually taste the chicken! Service here is nice and friendly and nice cosy interior!

Used to be local here. Ever since it got sold off the place is a let down. Very disappointing. Super bad service.Ordered two of the same cocktails. One bartender didn't even know how to make them, the other poured all liquids on the same jar (!?) and then divided them in two glasses. Who does that when making cocktails?! Result was watery cocktail that did not work the 9£ each. (1.5£ more expensive than what it used to be).Such a shame this place lost everything that made it nice.

Always great service and choice of beverages. Sad to see our Irish Nicki depart ways, but life keeps moving. The outside garden area is still very quaint with the perfect amount of leg room for each private booth area. A very British almost medieval feel lingers throughout which is why all my travelling buddies are taken here for a planned visit. However, I'm always going to miss the doll collections on the shelves.

Excellent old pub that serves great real ale. Enjoyed a selection of small plates of really tasty food. Excellent value. Really friendly staff.

Proper beautiful traditional old English pub (mind your head on the low doorways). Great beer, great food, great decor, cracking pub quiz. I used to come down a fair amount when I lived in Kennington, but also definitely worth stopping off and running across the road from the tube if you're passing through with a few minutes spare.

Great food here! I was starving. Hadn’t eaten all day. Ordered the burger and fries. The fries are so good. The burger tastes like it was cooked on a BBQ, a really unique flavour. Very nice staff. Thanks!
