The Slug and Lettuce in Lambeth

OK so very clean and welcoming. Staff friendly. 2 4 1 cocktails were 50/50 if you get the rainbow one with candy floss that was the nicest one. Pina colada had too much ice.

Had a meal here before a show. Food was nicely cooked and good value. The cocktails are a real feature and can often get 2 for 1. It was busy on a Saturday evening and only open to those with a booking but easy to do on the app. You can order and pay via the app as well. You need to make a £20 deposit when reserving.

Not pleased at all. In January I planned a surprise trip to London for my partners birthday. Wanted to start the day out with a nice breakfast and picked slug and lettuce as I'd heard good things. Had a table booked for 9am that I booked weeks in advance. On the day we got there and all the. doors were locked! Someone came out and told us that they were closed! I explained that I had a table booked and they said that I'd have to call and make the booking for later on when they had opened. Why let people make a booking if you are closed? Or I should of at least been contacted to explain they were closed afterwards. I couldn't come back later as I'd made plans for the rest of the day and wouldn't have time to do this...very disappointed especially considering it was a special occasion. as it really ruined our morning.

We visited Slug & Lettuce County Hall for 2-for-1 cocktails and a few light bites last Friday.We were quickly sat down. The place had a good atmosphere and was immaculate.We went to the bar to order and were served by Roxana, who offered us unparalleled customer service. She recommended a few of her favourite cocktails and starters, and we ordered based on her recommendations. Great cocktail and food knowledge by Roxana. She deserves a raise.We will definitely return.

Visited at lunchtime on a Tuesday, really quiet and chilled vibe. Felt very welcome with our 1 year old, staff were really friendly and lovely. Perfect way to warm up with a few drinks and bite to eat before continuing a busy day of sight seeing! Highly recommend to parents with little ones

Went to have dinner and couple of drinks with my friends, but I we were late for dinner as their kitchen was closed. Manager named Cristian welcomed us and even other staff were quite welcoming and friendly. Well I know the manager name as I asked him while leaving because he came and informed us if we wanted to order last drink before they close, that was really nice of him.Had a wonderful time and would love to visit again, but definitely early next time so can try the food.

Place is nice but there were very understaffed and our group had to go to the bar every time (and we all were having bottomless brunch, so quite a few trips). You shouldn't go starving since the food is served just once, I had the American Breakfast option, it was alright.

When we arrived, there wasn't anyone to greet us and ask us if we had a booking or not (had booked for a bottomless brunch). We were seated and had to tell someone we were here for brunch. The manager (who I believe) then approached us an explained the whole process and told us when our time started. It then took roughly 15mins for our first drink to arrive and 40mins for food to arrive, the service was very slow and it wasn't necessarily packed in the establishment. The quality of food was poor and part cold. The beans didn't have any sauce to it.

The team and the service was attentive and gave perfect hospitality service. We arrived early evening after a day touring the sights, we are a family group of 12, the young lady seated us promptly and gave detailed instructions of the order process. While at the Bar to order and get drinks the three bar tenders (1 male 2 female) had big smiles and greeting the customer warmly. The Manager was exceptionally attendant, following a slight error with a meal he was quick to resolve the matter and done plenty of check backs during our stay. We will be back and would highly recommend it. Oh let’s now forget the cocktails 2 for 1 even better.

Great evening out with friends celebrating our birthday 🎂. We must have tried most of their delicious cocktails 🍸and loved the by-one-get-one free offer! Staff were great and very helpful. The atmosphere when we went was fab! In the words of Arnie, 'I'll be back. 😉
