Great pub friendly team, food is amazing pork belly and nourish bowl was great. Lovely upstairs area. Would highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere and lovely food!

Had a fabulous meet up on Saturday, we had booked a table thank goodness as it was heaving. We had each one of the starters as sharing between us , their food has definitely improved, we also had baked camembert in bread - delicious. They even did drinks at table for us - lovely service.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Sun on Monday. A very warm welcome from Lucy, who was quick and precise with our food and drink order, and chatted to us throughout the evening whenever she would pass our table. We will definitely be returning soon for another visit!

The food is always amazing and the staff has always been friendly but on this occasion they went above to accommodate us. I mistakenly booked regular food/ drinks when I thought I booked the Christmas menu - even though this was my mistake the manager went and spoke to the chef and was able to get us the Christmas meal anyway. Defo recommend.

One of my favs. Always a good pint and a good atmosphere. They have a private function room also that we hired out for an S&M themed party which was great fun! Got absolutely smashed!

Really good food. We had a chicken sunday roast and fish and chips, excellent quality pub food!

Absolute shocker! This pub has gone seriously downhill. We had booked a table for a roast. There was no-one at the door/on the floor, so had to queue at the bar to ask where we should sit. They hadn't reserved a table for us, so had to clear one. The place was a complete shambles and visibly dirty, with piles of plates and dirty glasses literally everywhere! No-one clearing tables. We were told to order via QR code which was painful and didn't even accept payment, so had to go to bar in the end where they got our order wrong. We literally couldn't get out of there quick enough. Very pleased we didn't eat there in the end - if it's visibly that much of a mess at the front, I don't want to imagine what it's like in the back/kitchen.

Great Pub! The staff are all amazing Steph, Zoe, Lucy and Kurt, they really look after the customers and the food is excellent. Had a delicious dinner with friends, I would highly recommend, the Sun!

It's okayish. The location is good and fair prices for a British pub. I usually go here with my team mates after football. Ordering food is always tricky though. You might get properly cooked meals but today the fries were just awful, rock hard, and the scotch egg as well was really soggy but the egg itself was decent. Sausage and mash and the salmon were great. The sweet potatoes were also good, much better than the normal fries.
