EDITED:Plus my girlfriend was up all night with horrific food poisoning after she had the pork roast.Roast, poor. Bisto gravy, with tough nuked meat, ordered beef and got lamb. £18, cheers.It was unbelievably filthy everywhere, you can still be a cool place and be clean.And to top it off there was an issue with the gas, so no beer on tap.The staff were friendly but didnt care one bit about service.

My local pub. Sunday roast is good but the service OMG is so bad that will make you angry. They offer table service but the staff just simple ignore you as if you are not there and no one looks happy to be working there.

Local pub with massive space in and outThe building is old ( which gives a vibe)Visited for Sunday roast.The roast it self was very mediocre ( the lamb dry and overcooked without seasoning , beef like a shoe , salmon pan fried - nothing special. Their bar snacks were mediocre too - as the calamari was small portion for £7.5 and very soft for crispy.Delicious Bloody MaryService chaotic and slowVery low hygiene standardsExpensive ( paid £40 for a roast , and two drinks)

Decent food, I enjoyed the pork and leek sausages. Vegan Brownie and ice cream was delicious. Beer on tap, enjoyed 2.

Cool pub - really big, and really dog friendly. Be nice to have some outdoor heaters outside during the colder months, as it can get very chilly

Completely let us down. Booked a 7.15 table for supper. Because they were too busy with Christmas parties, they wouldn’t let us order food until the parties were dealt with. 1.5 hours later, with lots of empty promises and some free crisps/nuts, we still couldn’t order food. Really hungry, we had to find another restaurant in the end. Don’t trust your evening plans in this place.

Very decent Vegan Roast. Priced well and satisfying. Will be back.Quite busy. I was alone so managed to get a bar table. But do BOOK AHEAD if you want a nice table in the restaurant area.Nice old pub vibes. Spacious and bright. Lovely helpful staff. Free street parking on the weekend. ✌🏽

I needed lunch whilst I waited for my son to have chemo at Kings. I went for the chicken burger and it was great. Based on this one purchase I can recommend The Sun of Camberwell .

Wonderful pub, with quirky decor, the food is to die for - best pub food I've ever tasted and I love my 'pub grub'. It is a friendly, welcoming (dog-friendly, family friendly) gasto pub with the food freshly cooked in an open kitchen before your very eyes. Five stars plus!
