I had the bacalhau à Brás. It wasn't bad, but not what a typical bacalhau à Brás is. The fries were almost as thick as regular fries, instead of the thin straw style fries, and it screwed the balance of the whole dish. I may go again, as the employees were clearly from the Madeira islands, and the Madeira style skewer that I saw in a nearby table look awesome

This is a nice hidden gem in Stockwell! On the outside, it looks like an ordinary cafe, but it’s anything but that.All the dishes we had were freshly cooked, generous in portion and tasted like they were homemade, authentic Portuguese food.There were 5 of us and we only had to pay around £18 each for a sumptuous feast that could feed more than 5.Shout out to our server, Silvana as well for being so attentive and accommodating.I’ll definitely come back and bring my family next time. :)

A family business. A little corner makes you feel like you are in Portugal, love the environment, really tasty food and good portions. In my opinion a bit overpriced on the “tapas menu” compared with some other restaurants around, however, this is definitely a good place to go with your family or friends.

Amazing value and welcoming local. Great, fresh ingredients - yummy clams with garlic, chicken with garlic, very spicy potatoes, freshly flamed chorizo, salt cvod, etc... It's like being in Portugal (even down to the Formica tables with linen napkins, wine or Sangria by the jug and Portuguese TV). Very rowdy on football night's.
