A new local gem of a place. Just finished having a lunch here. Nicely prepared local Japanese cuisine. Had a nice selection of Sushi and Sashimi with Tempura which was nicely cooked and seasoned. I would definitely recommend this local go to restaurant. Will go back for sure. Best was it was offered at 50% discount of the lunch menu.

Went to Sushi Shimai for a family lunch and had a lovely meal. Food was tasty, generous portions, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recomment

Ate here for the first time and the food was delicious, great quality, fresh, the service was excellent and the pricing was spot on. A perfect dining experience. Can't wait to come again.

We're I guess a bit of an odd family - our 5yr old's favourite food is salmon nigiri! However tonight I had gyu Don (beef on rice) and wife had chirashi Don (sashimi on rice). It was all very good. We plan on trying out lunch next time for the special offer. As good as the Japanese places just off soho.

Newly opened Japanese restaurant with good quality sushi buffet with a wide range on a la cart menu. Definitely a money worthy buffet. Food came out quick with surprisingly big portions even for buffet menu. Great service and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place, similar to sushi mania and sushi cafe. Suggest a little back ground music would be nice, other then that we had a great meal. Will be revisiting!

Just tried a takeaway from this new Japanese restaurant: nigiri 🍣 , tempura, pork katsu curry and pumpkin katsu curry. Everything was delicious. Fresh and authentic and the portion was generous. Highly recommended!

We are so so happy to have a new place on the block! The staff here are really nice and very flexible if you want to make any changes! The food is spot-on. We love the spicy Dragon roll and the chef always makes us a delicious pumpkin uramaki. With the half price lunches you cannot beat the price. It is safe to say we will be coming here once a week every week from now on. If you haven’t been yet you must try it!
