Waterloo Sandwich Bar in Lambeth

I went to the Cut Bar & Restaurant with a work colleague and when we left the barman ran after us and accused us of not paying for the last round of drinks (a single pint of beer). He then refused to believe us when we said we had paid and only let us leave after another member of staff checked the till which showed we had paid. There was no apology and after spending more than £50 it was quite upsetting and ruined the evening.

Nice menu and top quality food. Hamlet at the young Vic blew my socks off. Superb

I come here for their tasty cocktails regularly, especially during sunny weather, sitting outside either on the pavement or balcony upstairs.Service is always nice and friendly and cocktails not overpriced and very lightweight. Because it's one of my favourite theatres I go often for plays and accompanying drinks. You can also meet there theatre people having a drink. Last time, for instance, I was sitting next table to Ivo van Hove.

Lovely spot for grabbing drinks if your in Waterloo. Friendly staff and very chill vibe.

I’m so glad the place is reopened! I went there yesterday and had full English breakfast! The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the atmosphere too! I was even given 15% discount! Woohoo!

Nice enough but staff struggled with small details like bringing main during starters, despite me asking twice...and silly rules about ordering at bar and taking to table.Food was nice enough but hot tapas weren't hot.Given the plethora of eateries in this area we'll go somewhere else next time.

Really lively bar. Great cocktails with an excellently made Old Fashioned being notable. Food was also great. The shared starters of tapas was incredible. My main dish of lamb was also great.Would definitely return when next in the area!

As one of the great venues for drinks in the local area, I’ve been here many times on a Friday night. But today was my first time for their little known breakfast menu. An excellent bacon sandwich on sourdough, with Clarence Court eggs. Definitely need to come back again, and try some of the other items.

Amazing smashed avocado and poached eggs. Fantastic coffee too. Perfect for breakfast any day of the week. Highly recommended. Excellent service too. Will be going back soon for more 👍

Great place to grab some grub before a show. Also really good breakfast here. Love the staff everyone is so nice. Pre-theatre goodness!
