Came in with family without a reservation on Sunday. They’d had a cancellation and could seat us. The dining area is really lovely, the service was friendly and attentive and the food delicious. Definitely returning. Happy that this is a local for me

This place is a little gem. My brother had booked this place as they except you g children (which I didn't know was a thing). As we walked in I noticed that there was loads of families and even their dogs. Which was really nice. The food was amazing. My fiancé even said that thier burger was the best that she has ever had. I had the fish and chips and they was very good to. I missed out on desserts but when I go back I would like to order the apple crumble as it looked proper yummy. The portions are really generous to so very good value for money.Really can't wait to go back.

Went here for a roast dinner last Sunday and it was so disappointing. The bar looks really nice and everyone was friendly and it’s very accommodating for kids and dogs. However the quality of the roast dinner was really poor. It seemed very much like get as many roasts out as you can without the quality. The people who had beef barley ate any as it was extremely tough and chewy, even though it came out very rare. The potatoes and veg were really dry as was the chicken. Shame as we won’t be back for a roast dinner.

We have just had a very unfortunate lunch experience, service was good but the food was very disappointing.A quiet lunch and our food took a long time to arrive which makes us expect it to be worth the wait.Even though the sweet potato mash was standard the pork chop was severely overcooked and lacking of flavour and the good sauce it was served with was not enough to complement it.The fish and chips was truly a disaster. Undercooked dark coloured chips indicate the oil is too dirty for service. The batter was so thick it tasted of undercooked flour and the fish was very mushy the way only old fish gets.

A maybe. First time here today, could have been an off day for them but extremely slow service between everything (starter arrived before drinks etc) Food was just average, found my cod batter very doughy and as per another reviewer burger was overdone and under seasoned. It wasn’t a busy time of day (3/4pm) so unsure why service was slow, bill took ages to come and then another 15 mins or so for card machine.Positives are v friendly staff, thoughtful dog friendly touches at the dog station (bowls, beds, treats on demand).

Had a Sunday Roast, the food and service was great. The dogs in the eating area was quite a put off, there were at least 4 during our visit. I’m all for dog friendly and think it’s great you accommodate them, the treats bowl were a lovely extra. But dogs where food is being served and eaten in public for me is super unhygienic and a big no.

First visit since new owners re-opened it. We used to love it here, and we were very excited.Good selection of beers on tap, but the food was disappointing. Fish and chips completely inedible, very soft chunky chips, fish batter too thick and mushy. Vegan hotdog was OK.Space looks nice, didn't change that much apart from new upstairs floor. We miss old Westow House with sofas and better food. It was our favourite pub in London. It's still OK but not as good as it used to be.

So much nicer after a refurb. They do a decent Sunday lunch, but disappointing we had to wait to order food as the kitchen was too busy (we were happy wait!). Decent service and the food was tasty and had a good beer choice.

We had a Sunday lunch whilst visiting family, and were pleasantly surprised not only with the quality of the food but also with the speed of service and friendly helpful staff. We will consider staying at the establishment the next time we visit. Well done.

Looking for somewhere to eat and came across this place. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Food was nice, reasonably priced and service good. A very busy and Popular establishment. Would definitely visit again if in the area
