Absolutely terrible! We were just trying to get something to eat after visiting family at St Thomas'. We we ignored by the only waitress/manager? Food was old and very poor, the kitchen staff seemed dangerously incompetent, one we saw accidently throw a dirty paper towel into the batter mix and then tip over a large container of water into the fryer, this caused a huge over flow of hot oil on to the floor and a flash of flames. while the waitress wandered about ignoring all the customers we waited and waited for at least our drinks order to be taken before finally giving up and saying we'd rather go someone else and paying for the small few items we'd eaten. The waitress couldn't have cared less. On the bright side we then went to a Turkish restaurant down the street which was completely wonderful!

Terrible service. Took them ages to bring me a cup of green tea after I sat down. The chef however was very accommodating. One of the waitress apologised for the slowness saying because it's busy. But no, the restaurant wasn't busy, it wasn't even full. I saw people waiting by the steps for ages and left.

Absolutely terrible! Tried to sit at the back in the empty booths as I was with my girlfriend and the woman who sat us spoke no English, struggling to understand, 'the back' as I pointed to the open booths. Got nowhere as she looked dazed and confused to what language I was speaking (im English) and all she said was no and looked at me funny as if I was a foreigner trying very badly to speak English. Service crap, food crap, NEVER will be going here and and advice others to avoid. On the other hand the one 5 mins down the road on the Thames is brilliant! Much happier here!

Fun and child friendly. It is tucked in a hidden corner so is not as crowded as I was expecting. Still it gets busy quite quickly. The service was quick and efficient, especially the self-service part. My son loved the Sushi train and refilling the glasses with sparkling water from the tap(for which you get charge).Good experience overall and my son wants to go there every time we go through Waterloo.

The lady, who I believe is the manager, was extremely rude. Zero skill to work with people. The restaurant wasn't even busy to justify her attitude. We were 5, I was taking my nieces, and they were quite excited about the experience, but the way she welcome us was not nice or friendly. We wanted a table, and she was quite reluctant and unwilling to give us one that was about to be free.

Quite a small selections of dishes on the move. Came on Thursday and only the Monday menu rolled out. Also portions were a bit small, ie. 4 tiny salmon maki on a plate. Misu soup was good!

On one hand, this branch is normally quite empty, as its some what hidden away.On the other hand, it's just not as good as others I've been to. The whole thing is much more sloppy - the service, the hygiene standards, the food.I would recommend walking 5 minutes and going to the one on the South Bank.

The best sushi place in Central London. The restaurant is really popular, so the best you can do is booking a table in advance. Great food, first class service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend it.

This is the place where I tried sushi for the first time so I have nice memories! Amazing staff, efficient, kind, always with a natural smile!

Attempted to get lunch here - was a total disaster. We were seated at the belt. The restaurant was busy, so they had to open up a new stretch of the belt. The plates started floating by, but then everything went wrong! The chef decided to turn off our section of belt (no particular reason but 'broken' - was working well before). So there was no more food. The only option was to order everything individually from the single chef who was hardly going to stand by us the whole time. Do not bother to visit, go elsewhere. Gave up and left. Then the staff tried to charge us for the 4 sips of water I had managed. #fail.
