Absolutely unreal pub! come for St Patrick’s Day and near welled up coming in and hearing the music and seeing all the bar staff in white shirts and ties and hearing the Irish tunes 😂 if you are Irish and looking for a good Irish pub, this is it! Will deffs be back for another night out, great atmosphere, Guinness and lovely staff ☘️ In over 9 years living in London this is the closet thing to home I’ve seen!

Went to local shop to buy Milk on the spur of the moment on the way home I called in for a Lemonade. Apparently I didn't even know the Wales v Ireland Rugby match was on. Being Welsh, I stayed to watch. Wales lost though!Still I enjoyed myself, someone bought me another Lemonade. Excellent bar staff! Great, friendly local Community Pub! Live Irish band on Thursday's. Get on down and groove!!! 😂(Reason for LEMONADE)Muslim!!!!I've only ate a Pizza in the Pub Garden before which was a treat 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Very professional, well-run traditional, genuine Irish pub, very popular amongst locals, excellent range of beers including Harvey's. Still fabulous. Pizza most Fridays. 🍕

The undisputed best pub in South East London. Where you go to be treated as an old friend, not just a customer. Touches of class left right and centre

Fantastic pizza, great beer selection. Loads of space inside and outside, with a wrap around bar. Was busy but never had to wait too long to be served.

It's good to finally find a pub that answers the question "What's the perfect pub?", or "What's the best pub in the World?". My mind can rest easy now...has been a lifetime's research.

I was told the Blythe Hill Tavern is the best pub in South London, and so, by extension, the best pub in the world. I was told this by Dulwich Raider and Dirty South of Deserter blog, unimpeachable experts on South London pubs. Are they right? Very likely yes.The beers are impeccable. Likewise, the bar staff who take huge pride in serving them and us. It has three cosy bars to drink in and a selection box of locals who all clearly appreciate what they've got here. They'll generously shuffle up to make space for us irregulars.It's hard to put into words but this is a magical place. It's probably built on ley lines or the ruins of an old druids drinking den.After a few hours under its spell and a few pints down, we're all blithe spirits.Why only 'very likely' then?Merely, because I haven't yet been to every other pub in South London.

Great Irish pub with a real community feel and pop-up pizzas at weekends. Hopefully the live music and other social activities from pre-pandemic times will resume. Loses a point and business only because of its £10 minimum card spend (why?? drinkers nursing a tenner in cash surely spend less overall?), and for replacing its mini toddler playground with permanent seating. Understandable but still a shame. Nonetheless, always worth a visit, if your money is accepted!

Lovely and friendly pub. The back yard garden is very nice. Harvey's is my favourite! Hope they do food every day of the week in the future.

Absolutely gutted, they’ve ripped out the playground & replaced it with tables. It used to be a great pub for families, it was me and all the mums and dads I know favourite haunt that lets the kids run around in the garden while parents relax. Kids could play while dads watch football. Still a great pub but totally ruined for kids now. Can’t believe it. My son is so upset. We’ll have to find another kid friendly place now.
