Brockley Jack Public House in Lewisham

Went to eat at Brockley Jack at lunch time today with my daughter and grandaughter. Was told the lunch deal was unavailable as they had no bread etc. So we had Nachos, which were awful and dry, we could not eat and left and the hunters chicken was dry with no cheese and sticky bacon again could not eat. The lasagne was ok but reduced portion. No one bothered to come and ask if we were enjoying the food. See photos. We have eaten here before but quality gone down the pan.

Iconic building with lots of local history. Serves its purpose. Accessible prices for a few swift drinks. Unlike a few others on Brockley Road..Staff are courteous.

Great pub with really friendly staff. Decent food and a nice selection of drinks, all at very reasonable prices. Always things going on there like the Lewisham, London Borough of culture artists display. A real community pub. Keep up the good work guys!

Great pub, delicious food, always friendly faces. Their vegetarian version of Sunday roast is excellent!

Came out of Crofton Park station and had time for a quick pint before meeting a friend. Loads of space in the pub and staff were quick and helpful.

Found this pub by chance and went in for drinks and a meal. The place looks good but the service was very disappointing. Not clear whether you're supposed to order via app or the till, the menus were sticky and hadn't been clean. Our drinks and food arrived at different times, with our friend having finished their meal whilst we were still waiting. When we inquired with the people there they went to check, never gave feedback and just brought the food later on. Felt like no one cared at all and the place wasn't even busy

Booked the brockley Jack tonight for a meal, as soon as I arrived Andty told a member of my party you cant order food for half hour as we have a christmas party coming in. Christmas party cancelled so we went on to order 1st item I chose you didnt have it, decided on fish and chips in the end which had been microwaved as my lemon on the side was cooked. 3 of my party ordered a curry which arrived hot on the outside and cold in the middle. Curry was sent back to the kitchen where we could hear the chef shouting and then he stormed off leaving the waiter to sort the food out. curry came back out having been microwaved as the pitta bread was rock hard a member of my party even banged it on the table it was that hard. Pitta bread went back more shouting coming from the kitchen by the chef who looks like he could benefit from a good wash. then onto desserts most things were off we settled on eaton mess as it was sort of take it or leave it. fruit in the eaton mess still frozen and no fresh cream topping but canned cream. There was only 4 other people in the restaurant so the chef was not rushed yet the food was below sub standard. Wont set foot in the pub again . Mrs L Ellis

Lovely old school pub good range of drinks prices reasonable but food want gr8 chicken wings we're very well done if not double dipped! An was argued with when we questioned them, but when all was said an done all party's agreed an was laughed off.Would go again but maybe not for dinner this time.

The Brockley Jack first and foremost location is great. We had a work mate leaving do and it was excellent. Planning to return for our Christmas staff party. Lovely atmosphere
