Great food in a cracking park location. Definitely a good stop off for walkers in the park, dog and baby friendly

Trendy. Reflecting the fact that Sydenham has 'up and come'. Afraid to say the service was slow and the coffee not hot enough. Cakes and rolls are expensive.

I went to the Brown and Green cafe, during a walk in Mayow Park with my Granddaughter, last week Friday afternoon.I asked for a extra hot Chai Latte. My drink was luke warm to cold. I was the only customer at the counter and so ther was no danger of person serving me mishearing my order.The standards seem to have gone down after my last visit. I know that you are a park cafe but need to raise your standards

Fabulous cafe at the entrance to Mayo park that has seats inside and out and does great coffee. Friendly, pleasant and helpful staff add to the overall ambiance!

A wholly excellent park café with fine coffees and a health-conscious (if not cheap) menu, the main downer being their decidedly corporate approach to adding a mandatory service charge to anything on-site, even for a single coffee!! Not cool.

Expensive and the portions are small. Two small sandwiches and two cans of coke came to £23, including a compulsory service charge for “eating in” on a cold wet bench outside. The service is sometimes slow.

Great little cafe in by the Mayo rd entrance of Mayo Park. Coffee, food, ice creams/lollies, soft drinks and I think a beer or two. Two unisex toilets which are reasonably clean. You can sit inside or out.

The cafe is located at Mayow Park. I like the park and that it has a little cafe which serves a good choice of food and drinks. It is very family friendly and the staff is nice too.What I don't like very much is service takes a very long time and many of the food items or meals are to overpriced.My daughter used to like getting a kids lunch bag which comes with a sandwich, fruit, juice, yogurt and raisins.I got her a bag 2 weeks ago and was shocked that for one they increased the price (£7, before it was £5)and the quality of the sandwich very poor and no fresh fruit was included.It's not worth that money for a poor lunch bag, you are better off ordering a proper meal.The other thing which I don't like about the cafe is the toilets!They are very filthy and neglected in terms of maintenance (doors don't lock e.g.)

On the plus side it’s a cute place on the down side the service is slow and the food is madly over priced. Eg £9.50 for two fish fingers with not very nice tartar sauce in a not very nice bap or avocado on toast at £8! For some avocado on toast!! Flipping heck that’s some markup. Felt ripped off tbh.

To get a coffee it is usual to have to wait up to 20/30 mins in a line. Why this is who knows but I’ve given up going now owing to this slightly if not totally unnecessary issue. Once you do get a coffee it’s good. Do not get a cake or what have you. Often it’s insanely pricey and quite small. This review comes after years of putting up with very long waiting times. There I’ve said it. It’s done. Also it closes early in the summer and doesn’t serve booze, ever! Missed opportunity!
