Darjeeling in Lewisham

My family and I have been using this restaurant for over 20 years now, always great service eating in or delivery. Staff are friendly and attentive and the restaurant has good vibes. The Garlic chilli tikka main dish was superb, great flavours and just the right amount of heat. Swift delivery times and consistent.First class food at a very reasonable price. Thank you all at Darjeeling!

Have been going there for more than 10 years now. Great service and Food

Ordered on Deliveroo with an estimated delivery of 30min. After an hour we called to check, and they said it was ‘on the road’ and there were delays due to the ‘weather’ (fairly standard London rain). Was delivered fairly cold another half hour later (1.5hrs total - and we live max. 10min away).Can understand delays but would appreciate them updating us or just apologizing when we called and providing a realistic delivery time - if anything they seemed annoyed we had called to check.Would also have rated higher regardless if the food was excellent, but they were ordinary dishes. Better local options elsewhere.

Usually the food is spot on, but last nights food was a big let down, small portions, poppadoms tasted greasy and like cooked in old oil, tikka overcooked, very disappointed as usually very good.

Took two hours and arrived cold. Ordered 12 chutneys (what can I say, I like chutney), only got 2. Curry was ok. Won't be back.

Great restaurant -- best Indian I've had in London. I'm originally from Bradford so trust me when I say I know a good curry house. I'm actually shocked by how quiet it has been when I've come in with my partner. There are cut outs of newspapers where this place has won awards for its food. All I can think is it needs a bit better marketing.Both times I've come with my partner, we've come in for the banquet menu which is on a Monday and Thursday. This is a great deal where you get a poppadom with dips, any main, any side and rice or naan for £12.99. The servings are a really good size as well.The staff are friendly and very professional. The place has a really classy feel to it. I would strongly recommend.

If you often crave for some Indian curry, biriyani or any other Indian dishes, this is the place to be. The first time I had my dinner here I knew I am gonna keep coming back and that’s what happening actually. Had my dinner uncountable times after the first time and the quality, price and service has always been kept to the best standard. Highly recommended 👍

I got a leaflet through our door after moving in the area 4 months ago.I was there with my wife and kids last week. Both food and service were excellent. Felt like a small area of tranquility amongst a very busy Lee High Street.I had delicious chicken tikka briyani. Good selection on the menu for the kids too.We Would come back again.
