Ladywell Tavern in Lewisham

Recently moved into the area and so happy that there's a decent pub like this not far away. We've been several times now and always enjoyed visiting. Really nice mix of punters, simple but tasty menu.. and the local cask ales they have on offer are always very well kept.We'll be back and we'll keep supporting you!

Right Outside Ladywell Station turn right, walk & it is on your left, this pubs service fine food, fine drinks with good service at good tables, hence worth a destination visit. The P4 & 122 buses go past the pub too.

Dog friendly but didn’t serve food past 8pm on a Saturday night so we were left hangry. 😪

The gents toilet had no soap at all. The soap dispenser was actually BROKEN and EMPTY. The hand drier was completely dead too. And all this in spite of an empty venue when staff had plenty of time to check on these small but hugely significant issues. It's not like we're in the middle of a global pandemic and washing hands thoroughly could save someone's life - yours included. The 2 female staff behind the bar were actually on their phone and I had to literally beg for their attention. First time in "The Ladywell Tavern" but never again. I dread to think what else could be going on wrong behind the scenes. No thank you.

First time here, good pub with interesting beers and good value food, need to come back

Small menu, but fish and chips I had was fabulous. Dog friendly and as soon as we were seated a bowl of water was offered for our dog. Friendly staff, good food, what's not to like!

seems to have changed hands and starting to feel really chainy. lighting way too bright with too many light on and exposed bulbs so no atmosphere. reminds me of the lighting they put on at the end of the night to clear everyone out. Menu hardly anything on it and a bit pricey for what is is. it was a favourite place to head to but probably wouldn't bother now, who want to sit under floodlights after a long days work?

Love the Ladywell Tavern, but last night felt very sorry for the 2 members of the team who were left to manage the pub. Nice people working there but menu has been stripped right back.

Testing out lock down pubs. The Tavern had everything under control. Order food and drink on your mobile phone online. No quing at the bar.I prefer the new norm. Food was good. Enjoyed the new calm!!!

Really cool garden, friendly staff. Hand sanitizer and having use the app to order makes it as covid safe as possible. Will definitely visit again.
