Maggie's Cafe & Restaurant in Lewisham

Wish zero star was an option. Ordered some food via just eat. They all tasted bland and wasnt fresh. My panini bread was hard as if it was a few days old. My scones were stone cold with a little smear of clotted cream and jam. The wrap was dry with little ingredients inside and the egg royale wasnt fresh.It was such a horrible experience that my husband and I couldnt eat and lost appetite.Called the restaurant and spoke to a so called manager that told me that because i ordered through just eat he wasnt responsible knowing that just eat doesnt take this kind of responsability so we lost our money and didnt eat.I overheard the manager ask the lady if she toasted the sconed and she lied. The manager asked me to come and ill get the food back... why shall i occur more loss as i already paid for delivery and it is their standards arent good.Horrible experience. No accountability. Poor customer service.

Friendly staff but the fry up didn't live up to the hype and price. Cold beans, soggy toast, limited choice of bread, avocado portion too small and not very fresh. Coffee was too milky.

Nice Breakfast Place! Just around the corner and always wanted to try it as it's always packed! Now I see why 😄 Plenty of other options on the menu if the standard Breakfast is too much. Price wise it's slightly above average I thought the portion would be much bigger. Nonetheless, the food was great and you get tea/coffee free on selected sets.

This place is a gem. It’s cosy and the staff are so sweet. The build your own breakfast is great. You get to create your plate from a ton of options and you get unlimited coffee and tea for about £9. I’m a student, so I love to use the free WiFi and get a delicious cheap breakfast while getting some work done.
