Mammas Pizza in Lewisham

Ordered from them via JustEat. Waited more than an hour for them to then cancel the order for 'not being able to deliver'. Totlty incompetent. Avoid.

I thought i found mould in my pizza. On inspection it seems to be blue tissue roll. This was buried in the crust on the pizza. Gross

I have tried and savoured many wings in my lifetime, but there is nothing comparable to the flavour sensations my accomplished palate experienced at this incredible establishment. I tried the wings and chips and dare I say was the greatest moment of my ailing life. The ratio of the crisp exterior to the fluffy unctuous potato of the chips were impeccable, but the wings were a different story. The secret blend of spices encasing the juicy, succulent and moist chicken, fried and crisped to perfection with barely any grease or oil covering the mouth, was sensational. I can conclude that bossman definitely knows what he is doing and I will continue to visit this godsend of an establishment till the day I die.

This place is my go to for delicious and fresh chicken. Their pizzas are full to the brim of toppings and always arrive piping hot. I haven’t been eating as many takeaways lately given one too many quarantine lbs gained (oops). When I fancy some good chicken and crispy fries, I’ll go here as it’s simply the best.

Placed an order via Just Eat, but due to their habit of removing negative reviews, I've decided to leave one on here. First time customer ordering from here, and definitely my last. Placed order at 9.15, and it's almost an hour later with the driver unable to find my address despite leaving explicit instructions (just in case). Evidently these drivers can't read so I have no idea what the food was going to be like, but he's had it in his possession for over 30 mins now and I can only imagine what it'll look / taste like. The worst thing is I probably could have driven down and collected it in 5 mins. Driver called me very late in the evening and admitted he only put the post code in which took him to the top of my road, then didn't call me immediately and aimlessly wandered the streets. Absolutely pathetic.

Value for money 100% the pizza was good but the customer service of the young man behind the counter was rude. He told me to come down in half and hour to pick up two pizzas which I did, as i got there he was making my second pizza while the other one had been cooked and sitting on top of the oven in the box before it was cut. He then cut the pizza left it on top of the oven for it to stay warm, started preparing another order (chicken strips and other food in the fryer) put my other pizza in the oven. I then had to wait for the other pizza for 10 mins whilst the other one was sitting on top of the oven. I said to him I want a discount because my other pizza has been sitting there for 10-15 mins whilst the other one is cooking . He tells me (in broken English) I'm not bloody super man or spider mad I cant make two pizzas to once. I replied if you prepared both pizzas at the same time and put them on the conveyor belt one after another it would of made sense. He tells me I'm wrong and just pay. Its not about the money it's about what's right. The pizzas good but customer service was terrible.

Great place near forest hill with adequate parking space on the adjacent road.Fast service, great food at affordable price.Bought fried chicken, chicken burger and chips. Food was on time, quality of food was fantastic, would recommended.Most likely will revisit when around forest hill

Ordered a pepperoni pizza, wedges, hot wings and a bottle of soft drink. Somehow the wedges decided to go somewhere else and not even make it to my door, and as for the pizza 🙈 arrived cold and the pizza looked like it had been in a war. NEVER AGAIN.Food quality 1/5Customer service 0/5

It was excellent experience to eat at mamas pizza.The customer service is very good. The food is very enjoyable and freshly made. I would recommend it to everyone!!!!

It's ok..... service is a bit slow. Pizza is ok but nothing special. Cheap enough.
