I know this is a piece of London history and other pie and mash shops are fading away, but British food was the laughing stock of the world for years... I'd love if they could stay open and retain their history, but start selling pies that taste half decent! The meat in the one I had was grey and gristly with no flavour at all and the pastry was tough. The liquor was like thickened water with a couple of bits of parsley strewn through. At least they have chilli vinegar and are still relatively cheap, so they can have 1 extra star for that!

Got 6 pies and 6 mash and told liquor to suit!! Unfortunately pies were under cooked and mash was poor, liquor had no taste or colour you eat with your eyes!! Looked drab, was 30 minutes before closing time so i am lost to why

Disappointing. I have been there before and been very happy with the pies adventure but today meat was pink and the pastry tough. My friend and I should have sent them back but we did eat them. We are waiting for the results
