Rose Chinese Take Away in Lewisham

Our family have been getting takeaways from Rose for over 10 years now, maybe more..a few years back we all went veggie or vegan, but I never rayed Rose quality of meat back then, but veggie meals are consistently good, apart from ordering on a Monday or Tuesday night, they seem to have some sloppy Joe chef. I don't know weather the ingredients are not fresh or there left from weekend and reheated.. But tonight. I had to ring up as the noodles with veg was disgusting, the noodles were all cut up into little bits, (no idea why) and they were like pappy slime,. With the strangest watery sauce. And the veg that was on top was half rotten.. The usual delicious curry sauce was not the same.. Somethings up. With this Chinese and has been for a few months now.. I can't keep wasting my money thinking next time it will go back to how it used to be, so I rang the lady up, told her I wasn't happy. And after all these years sadly I'm going to find another takeaway.....its not even the money (although a refund wasn't even offered) its about the constantly throwing food away, as its inedible.. So Adios Rose RIP

My favourite Chinese takeaway, I'm always welcomed warmly when I go in and the food is delicious. When staying with friends or on holiday and we order Chinese food I'm always a little bit disappointed. It's never as good as my local. It does get very busy on Fri/Sat evenings though so expect longer delivery waits during busy times. I just go get it as it's at the end of my road and my order is usually ready within 20 minutes.

I’ve been going to here for awhile now and I’ve notice they don’t clear their pawns. Like this been the third time i’ve seen poop. But the food is tasty.

Have been going here many years on and off. Food used to be really tasty years ago but they must of changed who does the cooking. As it can be a bit bland now. Sad because the people are really lovely and it’s always clean.

Constantly good-sized tasty dishes with plenty of vegetables and very quick delivery

Worst chinese I have ever eaten. The seaweed was stale with no flavour. The chicken in black bean was awful, the chicken was a strange texture and it smelt gone off. The only thing that was nice was the boiled rice which you can't go wrong with to be honest. Would never eat again.

Take away last night ,Won ton soup not very nice , spicy noodles over salted.Disappointed with the food. What has happened ?

After an all to coincidental order got mistakenly delivered and payed for to us Rose's were very quick to sort out the strange situation and keep everyone happy!Super fast and friendly service!!!
