Tasty food in this Indian restaurant. Staff attentive and helpful. However parking is not easy very near the restaurant. Easier to park on the Heath and walk to restaurant.

If I could give less than a 1 I would. The standards here have dropped considerably. As a member of the local community who has always trusted the quality of food provided by the Saffron Club, our recent order was quite the unpleasant surprise. Three of my relatives ordered a chicken tikka masala. To our horror, we agreed that the curry tasted uncannily similar to Heinz tomato soup (again, I'd like to emphasise that we have used and trusted in the Saffron Club, and have never had reason not to otherwise). I am convinced the curry contained this soup, which is unacceptable considering the prices charged here. Disappointed doesn't cover how we feel, especially having ordered for my mother's birthday. A shame.

The Alexandra Players (drama group) from Charlton had their first Christmas outing all together since the pandemic started tonight. And it was wonderful! 🤩 Great restaurant, delicious and appetising food served by very friendly, accommodating staff made tonight extra, extra special. I had the chicken tikka masala which was incredible 😚👌 Forgot to take a piccie of my dinner as I was hungry and didn't want to stop once I picked up my knife and fork. 🤣 Highly recommend! Thank you for looking after us Saffron Club! 🙏

The service was terrible took over 30 mins to ask what we wanted to drink. Forgotten about the mains. Asked for coke 5 times an one of the times walked straight past. This topped it asked for a bag to take the food home I'm allergic to nuts they mixed the corma curry with the Madras if I could give a no star I would

Delicious. We asked for an item that wasn’t on the menu (Pathia, definitely recommended) and that, along with the 2 specials, was perfect. Tasty, freshly made, and simply delicious. We will be back!

Food is very tasty, though slightly on the pricier side. Service could be better. They charge you £1 per poppadom so beware - it’s not free like in other places.

Our favourite place for a curry. We have just ordered a takeaway for my Birthday and these guys included a free bottle of beer. Food is always delicious and the service superb. We will be back as soon as you guys open again.

One of the best curry you can get in London. If you are local and have not been there yet you have no idea of what you are missing. I'm a customer since 2012 and the food quality has been the same if not better every time you come back, the service is very good and at a reasonable price. If you want a relaxing night, Saffron is the place. 10 out 10 for the place an the team.

Delicious food! Had some starters I've never heard of before and they were amazing! No greasy food here just amazing fresh perfectly spiced food.

Solid choice for an Indian cuisine in the Blackheath area. Food was of really good quality and not very greasy like most. I thought the portion sizes were quite small but I felt quite full after the meal! My only negative was that I thought the chicken bhutwa was lacking seasoning. My wife’s curry was spot on though (I finished hers off!). They nailed the garlic naan too.
