Sydenham Kebab Shop in Lewisham

I'm not going too lie the food was horrible and it took 2 hours to come. Plus the service was very bad in there

Constantly use this kebab shop and the food is always hot and fresh

I used this for a long time then ordered a take away waited for 2 hrs after phoning twice they said it’s just left 20mins later it turned up so sent it back will never use them again an I only live 10 min walk

Liked the kebab meat. Very tasty.The only let down is salad. There is none. Only onion, lettuce. What ever happened to the rest? Red onion & cabbage, white cabbage, tomatoes.The good old Turkish way.Needs freshness from salad in there.Too much salt on chips.

RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! Tried to order a kebab for me and 4 of my mates , however when taking the 3rd order the lady on the phone said “are you joking” and hung up . We then rang back and explained we just want to order? She then refused to take the order and told us to come to the shop . If we wanted to collect then we wouldn’t be ordering ?lost a big order there guys! Disappointed in this service , will never return .

Literally the worst kebab I have ever had.I got a mixed kebab though barely more than 10% was chicken, not that you could tell the difference with how tasteless it was.Talking of tasteless there's the sauces, with both the garlic and chilli sauces add nothing other than moisture no matter how much you out on.I can see how the salad comes across as not being that fresh because when you give so little with a kebab you're going to have it sitting around all day.Of course you get all this lukewarm "food" with the fast turn around of an hour!

Chicken doner was full of skin fat and trestlees, chilli and garlic souse also tasteless!this place Use to be one of the best kebab shop in the area but everything completely turned down since owners changed 10 years ago

Ordered my dinner at 7.15 still waiting for it to turn up even though they stated delivery time was approx 45 mins to 1 hour I'm still waiting 1 hour and 45 mins later !

When you’re hungry, haven’t cooked anything and need some delicious food to fill up; there’s no better place than Sydenham Kebab and I say that wholeheartedly. Me and the family always come here, we’ve been regular locals for 10+ years now and the amazing food, great customer service and friendly atmosphere has never changed and never fails to amaze us. I highly recommend the Sydenham special if you’re a group of roughly 3-4. It is just perfect.Overall I can’t speak highly enough of these people, very kind, respectful and clean people. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GIVE IT A TRY, YOU WONT REGRET IT.

This place is terrible. Seriously, seriously bad. The Lamb had tasted of fish and the chicken tasted of rubber. There is nothing, at all, redeeming about the food that was served.Chicken Shish is simply fired chicken with no seasoning, cut into thin Fajita style strips and cooked to within an inch of cremation. Only god knows what they done to the lamb.I assume that they get their salad from dumpster diving - as this is the only way I can explain the "Freshness" of the leaves and onions.For £20 we put both meals in the bin and ordered elsewhere.I would avoid this place at all costs as if they are happy to serve this to customers I would hate to see the state of their Kitchen.
