I made a silly mistake getting table numbers mixed up (completely my fault!) and the staff were completely understanding and kind about it even though if I’m sure it must’ve been a source of frustration (I also work in the hospitality industry). They even arranged for the food to be made again and repoured the pint which in my opinion they didn’t have to do as it was my error and must’ve meant they had to go out their way The staff are friendly and attentive as well as quick and efficient and seem to have a great time working together which always makes a nice atmosphere, it’s nice when a pub lets their staff have fun together! The food came really quickly once I’d let them know my mistake and was also delicious and very filling.I can see why this place is popular.

Very busy Wetherspoon in trendy Brockley now! It's friendly and in the heart of things. Definite winner for large groups, but suitable if you fancy a stroll out on your own. It is what it is a good old boozer.

Stopped in on a cold rainy Saturday lunchtime. Double G&T and a pint of cider £8. Nice. Then two burgers plus another G&T and pint £18. Food was good and there was plenty of it. Nice and cosy too. Can’t beat the value. We must go more often!

Decent local with friendly staff, great selection of ales and the usual fare for Wetherspoons... Good, consistent quality, and fast service, most of the time.*Update*Same old faces working post covid lockdown as before. So much for the alleged "let them stack shelves" 'quote' 🙄 The Barge remains a friendly, welcoming local, and the service is faster, if anything.

Clean and tidy and the beers ok.Despite what you might think, what with it being a spooners. Staff are nice, which is surprising as they work for a Compnay that clearly hates them. If you can ignore the fact that the owners a "bellend" then its a prefect place for a late night beer seen as everywhere else is closed.Would have given it 5 stars, if it wasn't for all the political material plastered all over the place.

I ordered a pint of lemonade and only received 3/4. This is disappointing.

My local since the late 90s. Always lively, full of characters, cheap as Wetherspoons are and good fun. What more do you want from your local watering hole?!

·

Lovely weather spoons, menu choice was quite limited but the food they did have was really tasty and well cooked, Staff were attentive,

Always quick service, friendly staff, delicious food. But I suggest the chef cuts the pizza before serving because I was struggling to cut it with the knife I was provided, it was thin crust and it hardened quickly. Thank you 😌
