The Lighthouse Fish and Chips in Lewisham

Customer service absolutely useless. When I received my order the chips were cold and the skate was undercooked and didn't smell fresh.I contacted the shop and was told they only use frozen skate and cook it from frozen to in deep fat. They refused to collect the fish and give me a refund. Also ordered 2 large cod these were very dry and not very large.

Disgusting food, dry, not tasty at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. Yesterday I ordered food from them and firstly, they arrived late, then the food did not taste fresh at all, it tasted microwaved or old pre made food. Then the chips was really really dry. Fish was crunchy which means it has been cooked twice and that made it too hard. I highly recommend you NEVER order food from this restaurant but order from a restaurant called SAILORS FISH BAR . There food is omg so delicious and everything is made FRESH. I thought first let me try amigos because I haven't before but made a mistake. DISGUSTING OUTRAGEOUS FILTHY

TOP TIER PERI PERI open late served us well after a night out even gave us chips and a sausage on the house. Nice and friendly 😌

Ordered from here via one of the popular food delivery services, the food came at the time requested. Ordered a large cod and chips and a few small bits. The chips were cooked and tasted average. The cod was the big disappointment! It was hard, very rubbery and tasted like it was fried from frozen. Not fresh in any way. Called the venue to complain and was advised that apparently they had old fish delivered due to shortage in the market. ABSOLUTE DROSS! My regular spot has been fresh and remains the same. Had to source dinner from elsewhere. Was advised that they would sort me out next time, fortunately there won't be a next time.

Wow ordered on just eat at 00.19 told delivery would be between 1.10 and 1.30 to then get a message to say delivered which it wasn't then told another 30 minutes wait and now restaurant won't answer phone. Absolute joke of a service

!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!We ordered our food at 00:52 due to arrive 35 minutes later and didn’t arrive for 2 whole hours!We ordered 16 chicken nuggets, onion rings, salad, saveloy, small chips, 4 sachets of sauces.The chicken nuggets were £6.50 for 16 and tasted like foam, they were cold and tasteless.The small chips were clearly re-fried and the tightest portion ever.We got the onion rings which were okay but no salad, no saveloy, no bbq sauce.The tomato sauce was PINK!!!The food was horrendous, the waiting time and customer service was appalling and the fact there was food missing is terrible.I repeat, DONT GO HERE.

I generally don't like writing bad reviews because I know this industry and it's not easy. But. When people take the complete p-ss, I draw the line.There is a saying in the food industry, "make the last order you send out as good as the first". This is a saying that whomever was working at Amgios when I ordered, definitely does not know.I was probably one of their last orders of the day, and boy could you tell.It was a thrown together order and most of the food was horrid.Order on Deliveroo is my suggestion (because their refund and complaints process is far better and you'll likely need it). I made this mistake. UberEats are the worst for this.First. Ordered some pies. Just thrown into a paper bag, no care. Barely heated up.Second. Beans in a container that leaked, top not properly affixed, and again, cold.Third. And my favourite. The "Garlic bread with cheese" which was 4 pieces of garlic bread that the person (chef would be a reach) couldn't be bothered to put in the over to let the cheese melt, so became 4 pieces of garlic bread with raw grated cheese on them.Whole order had to go in the microwave to be edible.Don't order from here. You're not gonna get quality food. Or service.

Fancied cod roe and chips tonight so bought some from this chip shop.The chips was brown and tasteless like they had been dry fried and the cod roe batter was drenched in oil. Wont be going there again highly disappointed 😱Need a trip to the seaside qua

Loved the food , best quality and generous quantity. Everything cooked fresh to order and definitely the best fish and chips in the area. I would highly recommend this shop. Staff is so friendly and welcoming.

My favourite was the wrap, the way it was made , not dry at all , and so juicy! The staff was extremely polite and friendly. I was also impressed by their hygiene levels , the shop was kept clean. I will definitely be coming back again
