The pub was okay, budget food and the staff were really nice. However upstairs the soft play area wasn’t really pleasant. The area was very small and just had an ordinary play area. It wasn’t clean and over crowded. The space they had for under 5s was definitely too small and not really worth it as it only had one slide. Hygiene was what really concerned me as my daughter got ill 2 days later and this was the only closed outdoor space we went to. Not planning to go back there again

Sadly somewhere that looking very dark and tired we used to regularly go to Kiss Me Hardy it used to be a lovely place always busy that in itself was always a good recommendation but not yesterday we immediately notice that lots of chairs are ripped gives a terrible impression. The menu we struggled to find something appealing within their offer of 2 meals alright I guess if you like burgers or curry a few other things too yes they do steak on a different part of the menu but not everyone can afford that. No basic home cooked meals as in Shepherds Pie, Sausages, Lasagne. We settled on Fish in batter and chips with Salad alternately I could have had Peas or baked beans and Steak and Ale Pie chips and Peas both were well presented and although we would have preferred a wider choice both meals were very nice too. The lady behind the bar was friendly and welcoming she was the only lady we saw until we were leaving the lady we first met who also brought our food told me about entering my registration number into the system something that I didn't notice. This place has such great potential it was always a busy place sad to see how much it has changed. Upstairs is Whacky Warehouse which is a brilliant place for children we used to take our Granddaughters there when they were younger we no longer have children of that age so I cannot comment regarding Whacky Warehouse except to say it is great that it is still there. Hopefully any changes there are positive.

Had a birthday party here today for my daughters birthday in the soft play are and I must say it was absolutely great! All the members of staff I spoke to were fantastic, very friendly and accommodating - the party room, food, drinks, set up was all top class. My daughter loved and I was very impressed! Worth every penny spent. Big thank you so Sylvie who was our party host and to the other lady who’s name I believe is Joana (blonde hair lady) sorry if I got the name wrong.

Disgusting and tasteless food!Ordered food and 15 minutes told the starter cheese sharer wasn't available so ordered the mixed platter. Our main course arrived 2 minutes later, still not received starter! The food was taken away and we were assured we would get fresh food. The starter was super fried, bland and tasteless! Then our mains arrived and has clearly been kept under a hot plate - hot salad, lemon wedge, tarter sauce etc! They then remade all our food and it's was again tasteless with smaller portions. The lasagna was brown - could best describe as a shepherd's pie with cheese...only with no flavour!

Apparently during tot time there are meant to be extra activities for the children in wacky however I have found that when I take my children there are no extra activities laid out and when I’ve asked the wacky supervisor Joanna I think it is, but she always says she doesn’t have time so busy with birthday parties. Went with my kids yesterday and a whole room was open for the kids to do colouring while she and her colleagues were preparing for a birthday party. When we arrived we weren’t offered any colouring sheets and the supervisor closed the room shortly after we arrived. The supervisor is disingenuous and I feel like we are being discriminated against why lay out activities for other children but stop them when we arrive. Very strange behaviour from the wacky supervisor!

Had really good time in wackie warehouse. My kids are in the moon when we are going there. The host/Joanna is amazing, friendly and keep the eye for every detail. She is giving good example how great service should look like. More less that is why I am feeling very comfortable being there with my kids. Anna

The place is clean and tidy and the staff were polite and helpful. Sadly the coffee and food were hardly warm. My gluten free meal came out as the gluten version. First time I have been there and this hasnt made me want to pay a 2nd visit

They never answer their phones. The pleasant ladies who worked there a few months ago didn't seem to be there anymore. They were able to provide me with takeaway breakfast back then. Lovely service.Fast forward to early in December 2021. I visited once on a Saturday some weeks ago to get takeaway breakfast. There were a couple of gentlemen of seemingly eastern European descent only able to tell via their accents. They seemed to be quite busy with their personal conversation to care about me. I asked to order breakfast for takeaway. They said they had a big party upstairs so they're unable to take my order but tomorrow (Sunday) they'll have breakfast. Um, okay then. So I said I'd come back. Went back Sunday morning only to hear they don't have any takeout containers but also they don't serve breakfast, they don't do that.I'm never returning regardless of how close and convenient this location is. The service is complete garbage and I cannot recommend it in good conscience.

I first discovered Soft play in December 2021. I was so pleased to find a place near my house to take my children. On my first visit I had an awful experience. The place itself is amazing but the staff Shard and Beth are extremely rude. I requested coffee and without looking at me she responded machine is not working and I continued waiting for her to look at me as i wanted something else instead. She looked at me and walked away. I called her back and she said we are very busy as we have a birthday party. I couldn't get anything because they were too busy in their phones. Exactly same experience on next visit with same ladies and birthday party excuse for not serving coffee. I wish they can get a better staff and this place will be my everyday visit with my little ones.

My family went as a party of 6, 4 adults, 2 children, first of all all our food came 1 dish at a time with a 5 - 10 min gap between each one, so we all ended up getting our food at different times, my grandson ordered chicken wings and chips, he got the wings first and his chips came after my sons food came, the wings were raw inside and tasted of plastic, myself and my daughter ordered the 28 day matured rump steak, the steaks were clearly microwaved, seriously, who microwaves steak??? Apart from the food we had a great laugh, good relaxed atmosphere, but the chef let's this great place down, such a shame
