Light House Restaurant in Merton

We went there for my daughter’s birthday. The restaurant arranged the birthday menu, very impressed. The red curry mussels were super delicious. We had a great lunch there.

We had a wonderful meal at the Light House. The sea bass was the best fish I have ever had eating out. I would definitely recommend you try this restaurant. I can not imagine that anyone would be disappointed after visiting it here. Looking forward visiting it again.

Great service and excellent food! I was surprised as prices are low and food was made close to perfection with a great choice of wine. Will be definitely coming back.

Lovely neighborhood restaurant. The food and service was excellent - the squash beet feta avocado salad was particularly good. We’ll be back - it is the perfect local spot for a date night.

Not impressed with food. The free glass of Prosecco was tasteless and almost flat.It was a Wednesday night and live music helped evening enjoyment.Serving staff did their job well.We have been to this restaurant at least 4 times over last 4 years and not been impressed with food.

Beautiful, very fresh and delicious food. Wedding Dinner menu was superb. Chef is very helpful and goes an extra mile for your needs. Definitely coming again.

Very good value as usual, a restaurant we return to time and again. Good atmosphere, not too loud but enough of a buzz. Excellent value for children. Food very good and the service always pleasant 😋 😊

Went with some friends , as had checked the reviews . The place lacks atmosphere , but is a nice looking environment . Our starters and drinks were good . I am a vegetarian , and there was only one option , which was spinach and ricotta tortellini , I think it was £15 , so thought it would be freshly made . Sadly , it was not !!!It was dumped with some peas and spinach in a watery , tomato broth . I can make a lot better .My husband ordered the steak for £22 and the chips were so greasy , he does not like to complain , but I wish he had told me , as I would have sent them back, he got heartburn :(.How hard is it to make chips !!!The chef , obviously was having a bad day , and for the price , there are a lot better places , we will not be coming here again .This place , could easily be a nice place , but sadly , our meal lacked thought and was just thrown together.

Really enjoyed my first dining experience here.Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options in a smart but laid back environment.Attentive but unobtrusive service with the restaurant filling up quickly from 8pm.

Lovely local restaurant with a great wine list. Menu changes regularly and it's never disappointing. Chef knows his stuff, and Hugo is a wonderfully genial host.
