Morden Brook in Merton

Good beer. Abbott ale on tap was a real bonus and we'll kept too. Food was very good. We were with a group of 30+ people and had a buffet organized, all of which was very good and way above average. Big place, so plenty of space & ideal for what we wanted. Thanks all to team @ Morden Brook

Food was good. Staff OK and friendly. Bit noisy, but it's a pub, what do you expect.

Lived in the area nearly eight years and this was my first visit to this excellent local pub. It does not look much from the outside but when you enter it is clean and welcoming. The bar looks well stocked and the bottles sparkle. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of tables and seating. We were meant to just meet and then go but we enjoyed the pub and stayed for a couple of hours. We will be using this local more often.

Ordered a drink via the app...forward 20 mins and I still hadn’t received my drink. Went to the bar only to be told that they can’t leave the bar. Seriously, that’s gotta be a joke surely. I was actually told not to use the app as it would be quicker for me to queue at the bar. That was the whole point of using the app. Attitude issue when I was handed my drink that had already been poured and sitting behind the bar. If you can’t fulfill app orders, then deactivate it. Not my problem that you can’t handle a busy bar.

We had a fantastic lunch here yesterday!Steak & Ale pie, mash & peas was delicious.We were made very welcome by Dawn & bar staff & service was good. After previous visits when service was bad it was great to see this long standing pub happy again!!The difference I beleive is new management...Well done, we will be back Dawn xx

Lived in the area for 40 years and I can honestly say that based on my recent visit the staff the the atmosphere and the food has really improved. Over the years the pub has had more bad experiences than good, so well done to the staff and hopefully it stays this way because there is a need for a decent pub in this area.

We cannot praise the Staff or quality of the food more highly. As a branch of a Charity who hold our meetings at the Morden Brook, we are delighted in the way that Dawn and the team are conscious of our special needs and the care and attention shown to us is wonderful. Amazing value for money in a most convivial atmosphere. Thank you acting Manager Dawn, Connor. Vaida and the wonderful Head Chef. See you for the Christmas Lunch.

My wife and I visited today for lunch and I was pleased to see that they had a Gluten Free menu and also GF beer available. The service was quick and friendly and our two course meal was delicious and well presented. It was also very good value for money. We will certainly come again.

Its a really pleasant and comfy place. We went there around 9pm and they have a offer for each day. If you buying a burger you can add a drink for only 1 pound or a pint of a selection beer for 1.5 pound. The burger was really tasty and it took roughly 6 minutes for them to make it. The workers are friendly and kind. If you want to hang out with your friends on a weekend or just want to have a meal, i recommend this spot. Cheers!
