Pizza Express in Merton

Quite a small cosy place close to the train station. Great service and did have to make a booking, lovely food as well.

4 of us arrived on a busy Saturday lunchtime needing a very quick lunch. The manager (Pedro?) was extremely polite, accommodating and attentive , as were all the staff.We were quickly seated, served ate and left within 30 minutes. Food was excellent. Top marks and next time we’ll take our time!

Staff very attentive. Brought food quickly. Made multiple amendments to standard pizzas and everything correct. Definitely return

Excellent service from Lopez. :) They were able to fit in all 7 of us as walk in and the service and food were both excellent. We had a great evening and would recommend

Edit: The manager asked me to contact them which I did but sadly received no reply. Why ask me to contact you if you don't reply!? So, I've removed a star. Very small pizzas with a stodgy base. Disappointing.

Good food and very friendly staff. What more you can ask for. Don't have to wait for food too long either.

Popped in and booked a table for last Friday. Waitress took my name for the booking. When we got there the waitress rembered my name without me having to tell her. Quick and friendly service.🙂

The food absolutely stunning - both visually where not everything is as it seems, and taste wise - an amazing experience. The Sommelier Alfonso was so knowledgeable and so helpful - he stands out as the best surprise of the afternoon - guiding us from one spectacular bottle of Peroni to another - bravo. The service overall attentive and caring. Great job to the team and I look forward to my next visit if I ever venture into Wimbledon again.

I came here last night with friends to celebrate my birthday. Our server was a very friendly and professional man with a ponytail and sadly I didn’t get his name. He was very attentive and the food and drinks served were fantastic. He knew it was my birthday and I had a candle in my dessert and he dimmed the lights and had the whole restaurant singing Happy Birthday to me. It was just lovely and at the end of our night he asked us all if we had enjoyed our evening. He is an absolute credit to Pizza Express, Wimbledon Broadway.

We saw a lot of these around in our journeys and decided to give it a try. Decent pizza but a little thin for my preference. I would have liked it thicker and I believe that’s an option. The staff was pleasant and the flavored lemonades were tasty.
